i made the mistake of going to nakano on my last day and it didnt open til the afternoon and i had to jet before then..
the mandarake in shibuya was a bust.
I think mainly cause the super 7 crew and pogue were getting all the good shit first
i don't even know what cat street is.

Nakano was the only place I really found anything worth while. Some was expensive there, but some was good. I was also buying RAH stuff too, not just SB and new vinyl.
Shibuya Mandarake had nothing when I went there either. Couple of bagmen and a couple bees is all.

cat street has a few pretty cool small stores on it..its like..ummm//you walk up that main drag away from the station and once you walk past Kiddyland on your right hand side you go like another 1/2 block and cat street is on the right sort of hidden behind a big billboard its a sort of weird pedestrian only street with a railing running down the middle of it.
im sorry I dont know the names of the streets I JUST KNOW MY WAY AROUND. UGH.

That was a great description!! I know my way around and don't know street names either. I always walk down there on my way to Secret Base. There are better streets with crazy shops on them, but like everything else down there they are all hidden.
It took me a couple hours to find Secret Base the first time even with a map.
I think the streets around BxH have crazier shops!!

I think I know what you're talking about. There's a great takoyaki stand on that "street". I think there were a couple of collector stores as well...one dealing mostly in toys from the west, maybe?

I'm pretty sure I know what street you are talking about. I never did any toy shopping in that area, but there is an excellent gyoza restaurant just a block off that street. Super yummy, but menu is only in Japanese (in Kanji, not even in Hiragana or Katakana).
