What the fuck is that slouchy, double-mouthed Galtan thing? I've never seen it before.

It's by Dr.strangetoys.

Gotcha, thanks. I thought I had recognized that body from somewhere, but couldn't place it. Mystery solved, it's the same as Moon Claw. And I just noticed he's holding a claw piece in his right hand? That looks awful. Unfortunately, skulls do not automatically = awesome toy.

Edit: To keep this thread going -- From the same mind as Moon Claw and whatever Skullthing is called, comes this Beelzebub-inspired sculpt? I appreciate the reference, but no. It doesn't help that I personally don't care for squaty or insectoid sculpts, but to each their own.

Agree...I think a lot depends on the execution of the sculpt. The double jaw could be interesting but the whole figure is just off.

I'd agree, minus the Dreamhouse. I think that sculpt is beautiful.

There seem to be two distinct types of "fugliest toys":
1 - Well sculpted, but "ugly" or "poorly designed" (generally a personal opinion).
2 - Straight-up terribly sculpted and ugly in the most pure and objective sense possible.

The only toy in this thread I don't hate looking at is Dr. Zaius.

i know this might conflict with some people's views... but i've never understood this toy. i like the varsity jacket and it seems like a nice sculpt.. but it's got the toys name on its face.. and poorly at that. i feel like the ball was dropped with this one along the way.

Now, I am starting to realize how bad it is to have this kind of thread present...

On the other hand these toys do make you appreciate the toys on your shelf.

I think we should try to keep this thread Japanese sofubi-related, otherwise we could be here for years.

The ball was definitely not dropped. That is probably one of the most underrated sculpts on this board. Have you had one in hand?

I always wanted to love these guys but it's DOA from the neck up. I gnarly mutated monster face would have made this a solid toy.

Exactly, I love all but the head too... more specifically the face.

I've never liked toys with writing on them, (like the MVH zag) It just turns it into an advertisement.

I thought that was the point. I think the hair is put in the same as a doll you might buy for a kid. I think that is just creepy...giving it the appearance of a toy for children. At the same time I also think it is clever.
