If you want to go throwing around words like moron then eat shit. I was having a normal fucking conversation. Don't pm me to deal with this. I won't respond. I've been as civil as I could be, I'm not calling anyone names, just stating I disagree with your terminology and you want to call me a moron? Jeff you make dumb statements all the time and you pretty much enter every lottery to eventually trade flip. Oh but it's not that way in your opinion because you wait a designated amount of time before "changing direction". Oh wait I see you have edited your post after telling me to die.

Re: oust the flipper
Moron and dumb. Noted.
I did edit my post. I told you to go fuck yourself and to go die. I edited it because it was too far, are you saying I shouldn't have? Sometimes it's worth retracting what you say, even towards people you disagree about a very small and simple thing with.
If you're going to shoot off name-calling towards someone who just disagrees with you that tells me all I need. Even at this point I haven't called you a name. What's the point?
I guess I should stop now so that the Flipper Empire doesn't gain more fuel and oil to burn dolphins with.

Re: oust the flipper
I find it humorous that half of this thread is people that are complaining about flipping and are also in 2 or 3 other threads jerking each other off about other new releases coming out.
One of these days people will figure it out.

Lixx wrote: I'm done with the board. I really hope youre not serious Lixx I feel like this thread has really brought alot of negativity to the board and is creating a hostile environment lately. Maybe we all just need to chill out and relax, take some pics of our toys and enjoy the ones we have rather than concentrating on the ones we cant get. I realize the hype is created by the board usually, but what is the hype really? A bunch of hardcore toy collectors being really psyched on some toys most of the time. A general enthusiasm for our hobby can be used against us by opportunist lame-o's.. sure, but we cant let it get to us like this. I mean to keep the board only viewable by members would only hinder the growth of the sofubi scene. We definitely can't keep people from paying the ridiculous prices, we cant stop the skeezers from flipping them and we cant stop talking about the toys (because that's why we're here right?) We just gotta keep playing the lottos and hope for the best. fuck this thread. and this rules.. Re: oust the flipper
had a rare opportunity to chat with a flipper who doesn't really know any better: monike1216
when asked if he's on sb: "i had made an account but never got approved? lol so idk how to get it approved"
when asked why his price was so high: "It's hard to get, i I love it, and I will only sale it for that price."
when told that it's wrong: "thats cool lol. your telling me all this like i care lol if you cant afford the price dont ask questions."
he's some hack graffiti artist out of california. the guy's a moron.

Re: oust the flipper
this is not the direction I hoped the thread would go. Instead let's try working together to id that Outlook person. He has flipped a lot of toys so I'm guessing someone here has bought from him before and has his name and address. Whoever does should email that info to Hirota San I'll bet he would appreciate it based off his past comments. I'm sure these scumbags are using several email addresses so although it might not shut him out of the lotteries for good, it might make it just a little bit more difficult for him to get away with in the future.

Not to mention that it opens the doors for more of the fans to get these toys in their hands. Thanks for bringing this thread back home.

one bright side to ebay flippers is I bet 99% of the big ones will be getting a tax audit next spring with the new tax reporting policy

Re: oust the flipper
Not to derail this again, but isn't flipping a tricky business? With most trends lasting a nanosecond, and the need for research involved to know what's profitable, I wonder why they bother. Yeah, they can make tremendous profit if they manage to sell at their asking price, but if they don't (and looking at eBay, it seems like a lot don't), you'd think they'd stop soon enough...

Re: oust the flipper
I would hate to be stuck with some of the garbage that these flippers think they can make a profit on. Myself, I can make more steady money with a side job selling unrelated stuff online without trying to get a markup on toys or trying to track the fickle toy market.
It's just fucking supply and demand. And some emotion and fear mixed in.
Meaning:
I HAVE to buy this at 3x the price now cause I'll never see it again!!!! I HAVE to buy this at 5x the price cause everyone else has one!!!
All the talk of matching sellers to board members reminds me of Pogue's list back in 2006 where he wanted to ID everyone so he knew who his competition was in the secondary markets.

They won't stop all they have to do is cruise over here and see what people are pole jocking. When they see what the toys are selling for on ebay they will start trying their hands at the lottery's and then it's over. As long as there is money to be made they will always be there.
