one thing. i would like to give a fuck you to all of the international 'bay mainstays that somehow, against all odds, end up with all of the most up to date, hyped toys to flip. i'm not sure i'll ever understand how they manage this, whether it's some sort of formula they have down pat or some illuminati conspiracy, but it's like clockwork and, to be honest, a little impressive. but yes, fuck you nonetheless for treating our hobby, nay our passion, as your personal business.

fuck you paypal for not allowing disputes more than 45 days after transaction date. with international shipping, it can be over a month before your shit is even delivered, and when its not what you paid for, I thought the honorable thing would be to contact the seller. I sent the item back, now someone in Singapore has my money and my toy and I have no recourse.

This. I totally agree. Especially when sellers are notoriously slow, and you live in a country where mail delivery seems to come and go as they please. I don't even live in a backwater area, and it can still take ages. Add on the time you have to send it back to the seller, and you are cutting it very close in the best of cases. I have really been screwed out by this and it sucks worse when you lose all your money and the POS that you were sent in the mail on top of it. Fuck dishonesty in general.

Fuck me for falling in love with a hobby that filled with opportunistic assholes, and fuck the people that support them. I shouldn't feel bad about myself when someone sells me something at cost, but when it ends up selling on E-bay for a grand (because people can't keep it in their pants). It makes me feel like I ripped someone else off for getting it at a good price. GEEEAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Really? I kind of wish that that was in purple, because, as much as we purport to believe in toy karma, RFSO, and the like, it is never going to surpass the power of the wallet. I think that's what Slip was driving at, and I admit to feelings of disenchantment with the behaviour as well.

Toy karma, and helping out fellow boardies, is something that goes on regularly, and that is a fantastic thing, but when it comes down to what we are discussing in terms of flipping and the blatant [and underhanded] support of it in this circle, these sellers are not going to see any consequences - let's be real about that. Thinking otherwise just seems naive. People are willing to pay, and the rest of us have to sort through whatever is left that or stuff that slips through the cracks. The real sad part is that it is only getting worse.

I mean I could be wrong, but I didn't see this happening a year ago? I know it didn't just start happening, but it seems like every release, is getting flipped. At least with open orders, anyone has a chance, but bootleg was the perfect example of a great toy, not going to the biggest fan, but the largest wallet, I can't say for sure that the person that won the auction wasn't a fan, but $ was the only thing that determined having a chance, at the "Leftovers".

I'll say one thing, this shit really makes me appreciate the ease of getting S7 releases. At least they seem to produce enough toys to keep the fans supplied. I never felt unhappy about buying toys when S7 figures were the only things I was buying (I'm not saying anything about the way other people are handling their business either).

Yeah they did one today. Waiting room reached capacity. I was on line the second it opened. I have a friend that is going to try to help me out but I would much rather just purchase passes. I just want to go on Thursday.
