The smaller "advertisement"/insert: (someone with a scanner can do a better job ) The poster (currently held down by books): The colors are very vibrant but darker overall. The paper is pretty thin and smooth on both sides. The actual poster is a great size though. There's a little black "HS" stamp on the back corner but I don't see any numbering.

Did you measure the sides yet, I'm lazy and don't wanna go do it if someone else did. Gotta get a frame.

That ad that came with the poster has a very retro feel to it. So let me ask this- I did not order a poster, nor do I have any interest in this dino- so does this mean I will have no chance of info regarding future releases?

The little guy at the bottom is wearing a Gorilla Ju shirt. I wonder if any will be produced.

Hopefully! It'd make a nice shirt.
Also can't wait for the mecha cyclops with ball chain, whenever it'll come out

Yeah the "email" only talks about the tyranno ju release, nothing else. No metion of an "Anraku" list being created

Yeah, so only those who ordered the poster, and were lucky enough with that lottery, will have a shot at the new toy.
Sucks if the poster winner is not you.
Sucks. . . , but there is always next time, I guess. That and YJA or Ebay because I'm betting despite warnings, this release will be Flip City Central.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyranno-ju
I think I've entered every mecha gorilla lotto, except one I completely spaced on without luck. I'm not buying a print of a toy I can't purchase. I'm not an art collector, I collect toys. The Dino doesn't really appeal to me, but no Dino does. Just not my subject. Anyway the whole you can only enter the lotto if you bought the print is kind of a turn off to me, but good luck to the SBers who got the print and want this toy.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyranno-ju
Yes, I was on the fence about the print. Not because I didn't like it but because I couldn't afford a 100$ poster at that moment. Gorilla Ju is my favorite toy, HS one of my favorite makers, but this is a turn off. Wasn't the poster more like $50? Or is shipping much more expensive to you?

Mm... Let's see, the poster was 3000? And I think shipping to me was 2500. it was 5500. Yeah, more like 70usd. fixed! Axolotl wrote: I couldn't afford a 70$ poster at that moment.

Yeah, no way I was gonna pay that for a poster. Good price for those in Japan though.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyranno-ju
There was no mention of the lottery when the poster came out. You bought it because you were willing to pay for it and wanted it. I could see the whole "losing respect" or "turn off" thing if it WAS mentioned, like "buy this get a CHANCE at that!" but it wasn't.
It ended up being a cool surprise for those who did just want the poster. Don't turn this into a thread like Nag. Nothing malicious or weird or in bad spirit was done.
No one is saying you like a toy less then someone else because you didn't buy/want a poster. No one's saying there's gonna be a list. No one's saying there's gonna be a poster sale before every toy that is mandatory to purchase to try to get the toy.
These are toys and posters and cool fun stuff. There will be more. I guess he could have just cut off all but Japan though instead, that'd be cooler right?

I payed for the print, but haven't received it yet. Any chance it's just delayed?

Wow, didn't realize the poster was pricy! Regardless I would have pulled the trigger If i would have remembered! Regardless there's no need for speculation and bashing. As BD said, its a nice little surprise for those who support H. Saigansho. I see nothing wrong with the method he released his first Tyranno-ju
(coming from a person who didn't score a poster and genuinely liked the T-ju)

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyranno-ju
Regarding the pricing...firstly, is it a poster? (similar to movie posters, promo printed material, etc.) Or an art print? (silk screened with a limited number?) Just to be clear, if its just a neatly mass printed out poster ad with a 100 dollar price---this is expensive. But, if its an art print, I think its pretty decently priced.
I don't see any malice in the decision of HS to give the opportunity of the Dino Ju purchase to the one's who scored the print. In fact, I see some sort of logic in doing so.
Some might interpret in this way--if you are "fan" enough to want and score this art print, there's a possibility that you might want/ or even deserve this Dino Ju? Possible?

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyranno-ju
At 3000yen you won't get an art print that is the size of a Japanese movie one sheet, and that is exactly what the size and feel of this poster is. I didn't measure it but it's about 70 x 50 cm.

Re: Hirota Saigansho: Gorilla-ju, Mecha Gorilla-ju, & Tyranno-ju
I agree with Jay.
I didn't get the poster, I debated if I wanted it and finally decided I'd save the $70 for a toy or print I like more. I'll be bummed that I can't enter this lotto but I'll get over it.
