I got the heroes but ended up giving them away. I grew up with the chibi art in the manuals and that's how I always pictured the main characters. The sculpts on the hero figures are just too 'Dragonball Z' for me and they look a little awkward placed next to the monsters. I am terrible about taking pics but maybe I will remember and bump this 9 months down the road or so slipstar01 wrote: Yeah I've been really curious about DQ as well, they're really well priced, and some of the monsters and heroes look really cool. I just wondered what the quality was like on them, and the sizing as well. Quality is pretty good, especially for what you're paying. Unlike the Banpresto Mario sofubi they don't leave those weird marks when you touch the bare vinyl and they are pretty rigid. I was hugely disappointed with the Zoma metallic version and have stayed away from the metallic series. They range in size from like 3" to 8" and none of them are to scale with each other. The 1:1 slimes are about a foot in each direction.

 Re: guilty pleasure(s)...
I won these guys for $18 on Ebay. That was ages ago and the guy sent them here to AU instead of our Ohio guy so they showed up today. STOKED! Forgot all about it. There were doubles too! Those little white dudes are awesome for "jumbo mechanics"...in fact all these guys are great for putting all over Jumbos. I think I want all the space ones of these. I also have xray-man and xray woman. I'm missing the red/white rectangle robot and some variants.

 Re: guilty pleasure(s)...
^^^ I would say $18 was an absolute bargain for that lot. My favorite when I was a kid was the black robot at the back on the right Here's some surviving ones I have from back in the day: Fisher Price (X-Ray) by The Moog Image Dump, on Flickr Fisher Price Astronauts by The Moog Image Dump, on Flickr . . . . I sold a load of the vehicles (Space Shuttle etc) years ago at a boot-sale and I kinda regret it now!

Those white spacemen are from the Starforce line from Construx. Next to Fischer Technik, one of the all time best constructions sets you can have as a kid (or adult for that matter). Had to hare this great video: If you are ambitious, it is how you turn this into this

Sorry my bad, wrote that myself meaning 'designer toys', he actually is but imho soo much better than many others like Jeremyville and co.

 Re: guilty pleasure(s)...
Construx were awesome. I had the giant robot set. Only problem is the grey pieces always broke, I was way to hard on them.
