Whats up fellas? I finally got my acceptance to the boards......I have been dying to get a sludge demon for the longest time. Hopefully I can get better information through the boards to get one. I almost just put a ridiculously high bid in for one on Ebay. But I would rather not take that route.

The first DX Sludge Demons only came out a month ago, the orange/black unpainted (which was an open order). And then the Medicom version, which was a lottery.
Don't pay crazy prices. As more releases come out, eventually you will be able to get one.

Yeah I was going to bid on the orange one, but I was going to run me at least $300. I have been watching the boards before I got cleared to register to see where I could get that orange or black one but I never saw anything.......is it a link or something that only board members can see? Also, What are they priced originally?

I guessing you got the e-mail from some kind soul explaining a few things, and telling you to slow down a little before some of the grumpy members tear you apart? They were offered as a pre-order 6 months ago. There are releases coming soon. Keep your eyes peeled.

I think he actually went about it perfectly. Introduced himself, said how much he liked the toy, didn't outright ask for one and was openly honest about how he didn't want to buy one flipped. Didn't start a want thread for his 4th post like most new people. And he's been schooled accordingly.

Thanks man, I am a member of the C&D (Jamungo) boards, and I know how it is. I have 300 + posts on there, and we dont like when people come out of nowhere strictly to scoop stuff up at a good price. I have been following JoeMan for a while now and have 4 of his pieces. Before I was a member here I would talk to him through the contact section of the SPLURRT store, hes an awesome guy. I also was texting back and forth with whoever answers the MVH txt messages....whatever I could do to make some kind of contact.

Yeah they have a phone number on there site and you can send them txt messages........I guess I was the only one.....LOL

Welcome aboard, glad you finally got your membership activated. When Medicom isn't hogging Rich's talents, he does a lot of open pre-orders and big painted runs. I'm sure you'll be able to grab one soon enough.
