Thermo Black GITD neon green Repoclaimer Soldier. He is solid black in room temp, gradually color changing w/ heat till it is neon green (sorry no photos of the gitd green). Then after it was warm, I took it outside 35F and it quickly started to turn black in reverse.

There is only 11 sets in this release, these were cast in durable acrylic typically used in denture work by our freind Oneshot toys.
I will be trimming these up and getting them ready for sale through out the week.

These are great. Guess I missed out this time. So much cool stuff on the board, my wallet is going to take a beating.

Thanx everyone...I have been collaborating w/ Matt Doughty/Onell Design since 2005, started officially working on Glyos w/ him in 2009. The Armorvor is a collaboration between Matt Doughty (his design), Jason Frailey Freelance/Commission sculptor for NECA (sculpted the Armorvor body, wolf head and Lion head), myself (design/sculpt heads & produce all the prototype pieces), and Nathan Newell/Dork Dimension (header card and trading card art/design).

These Armorvors are the prototype pieces all made of uv resistant urethane by me. They are pricy as they are prototypes, but, the Onell Design retail production PVC figures are being worked on in China for a while. They will soon be available @ retail Onell Design/Callgrim production prices (very affordable)...so hang tight for those that can't swing the cost of one of these prototypes.

Thanx again for the props on the Mutant (again a Jason Frailey sculpt, that I produced in collaboration w/ him). i do have 2 of those mutants left from 2011 NYCC. I have 5 Armorvors left from C2E2 (sold 5 of the 11 on hand at the show, then one upon returning and another I had to cast). I think I have sold/produced probably 40+ now. The protos are definitely for the diehard collector that likes to own protos and knows their true value.

You and Doughty are like Aliens versus Predator in my eyeballs....only, y'know, you're not trying to hunt each other! Love the new head sculpts, dude. I truly think that if you can manage at least one more body/armor style by the time everything's ready for steel at Doughty's factory, you'll have a seriously AMAZING kick off on your hands. With four or so heads, and two totally unique armor sets (that can obviously be interchanged to make tons of different body combos) in just your first Wave, it'll be the perfect way to launch this toy line. I know...I'm an idealist.

On another note, Frailey wants to sculpt different hips and arms I think...he was thinking collectors might want some different angled parts to build them more action pose like...problem is, I just don't want our great collectors to feel like we are burying them w/ kewlness that they can't get it all. So for right now, we are only going to do more heads.

If Matt could cut steel for every incredible idea in his head...there might not be a need for any other toy company ever. You have seen his sketches...he is a genius...period.

I'm sure the actual first wave drop will be MORE than satisfying (and successful!), which in turn will lead to constant adding-on just like the Glyos line. Hell, maybe someday you guys can make vinyl vehicles or something to go with these dudes...just like the Armodocs and Rigs!

For real though, in this particular case, I felt justified in throwing down $200 on this monster--not because Jesse's a friend, but because of the stuff Matt talked about on his blog. See, Jesse's a great guy and all that...but he's an artist and he's a man utterly devoid of pretense. What you see is what you get with him. He's a deceptively talented fucker, a devoted father, and a dude who just plain loves good toys. And he don't take no shorts.

All that becomes apparent to me with this toy. It's SO obvious to me that he just said, "fuck the world; I'm doing it my way"...and that's exactly what he did. Zero compromise. The man wasn't fucking around when he put this package together...and the price reflects that...but so does the quality. If you think you're getting that level of creativity, that level of commitment to seeing his vision through, and that level of personal investment outta 99% of the modern toys discussed on this board, you're fucking nuts.
