Can't you buy these in Walmart or somewhere?
Maybe even a supermarket, in like the cooking & baking bit.
The best-known brand is 'Ziploc' I think ...

This isn't a trick question is it?

jltohru, your best bet is to do a Froogle search for "small plastic bags" and you will find them in many different sizes and quantities.

You may be better off buying them online, because believe it or not there are actually town ordinances in some areas that prevent the sale of these.

i had some friends who would buy them at head shops, but not in NY. (which is so highly regulated about EVERYTHING)

michaels crafts as mentioned above would definitely have them

try the cake decorating area if you can't find them elsewhere, mainly because people use those bags when they make homemade chocolates (which i do ) :)

Jackie - if you have a gorcery outlet (like a United Grocers) store in your town they have them there. If not send me you address again and I will send you some. I have a few hundred of them I used to put Star Wars and other older vintage Action figures in.

I use the ones that ikea always puts little parts into. :)

you can also get the "snack size bags" anywhere. They are about 1/2 the size of sandwich bags. i also store doll stuff in baggies, then label the outfits. haha.

My mom is a big time crafter and keeps little stuff in empty clear pill bottles. I think she gets the bottles at the Container Store. They are clear not the brown like from a pharmacy,
