Wow, that is an awesome figure, and a great matching painting. Totally happy for you.

^^^Whoa! What is that?!? Do those pieces pop like the old fashioned candy that fizzled?
....what happens if you put a small handful in your mouth all at once? Is the popping so strong that you have to spit it out? Interesting stuff!

Hahahaha! Yeah, they're exactly like Pop Rocks except that they only taste like sugar. I figured they'd be fun for a little subversive stealth baking.

I was bored so whipped one of these out. Sorry about the enormous pic and the dark blurriness of it but it's dark here and my camera is shitenuts. I milled this at 3" and the last one was about 5" (it was better). Milled stuff is shit...how cool would it be to have the license to these?

Why, yes. I do  The Usugrow, Nozaka and Buff pieces were all from the same show in London.

Ordered a repro Eames lounge chair, it was on sale for 689.00 usually 1,200 or something. A real version costs twice that. Free shipping, it arrived with a couple small dings, nothing I can't fix in a few minutes. From Lexington Modern.

Ever since I was a little kid I've loved the whole early/mid sixties modern style. Airport lounges, hospital lounges...even our church seemed so exotic with mod furniture and African art from the missionaries.

So my house is slowly becoming how I've always imagined it, with these icons of style from that era. I'm happy about it. Not bad on my working class budget.

In 1979 my Mom let me pick out any toy I wanted for my birthday. I picked Mattel's KRUSHER.
It traveled with my from Florida to Philadelphia, but in one of my moves must have gotten forgotten.
the Bay isn't always the devil- Box + 2 Krushers for $50!
