Wow, I didn't know she'd passed. She had an exceptional talent, a lot of great songs, and superior production by people like Giorgio Moroder.
For awhile I disliked her because she blamed gay people's "sin" for the AIDS plague, a very ignorant thing to say especially given that gay folks were a huge part of her audience. However at one point a very wise gay friend of mine advised that I should get over it and try to understand her work on the artistic level. So I did.

I'm sad that she's gone, big part of my life growing up her music always played in my house.
Dean, I got really mad about those comments too, but she was a born again and we know those people are inclined to say things like that.
I still play "I feel love" once a week, it's a brilliant song (Moroder was a genius).
