No, I got it... Just was confused to how you'd be picked... I didn't sign up for the print/poster lottery cause while I liked it, I wouldn't hang it so to me it was a waste of $... But that might of been the key to this uber email list now

I've entered almost every lotto up until the poster because I'm not a real poster/art collector. It would be cool if he could go back in time and maybe add some of us losers to previous lottos to his email list as well.

Sucks that some good collectors got left out but I would be lying if I said I wasn't thankful for the chance to get this pair. I hope the flippers are happy, this is the outcome of their shenanigans.

after reading over the last few pages, this is what i came up with.
my guess is that hirota put all the people that entered any lotto ( up until the poster) on a list. then from there, he seeded out any flippers.

and from there he sends out random emails to purchase? and maybe he takes people off the list once you get offered something?

totally speculating, but if he's doing it that way, it's totally fair. i thought it was based solely on those who bought the poster.

This looks to be how it was handled.

150 people won posters, then if all of those people entered for the Green Tyranno-ju that would leave 120 losers and 30 winners.
The emails went out to a random selection from those 120 losers for however many of these sets we're produced.

Well 150 won the poster and there were probably about 30 of this set and 30 of the 1st dino(guessing numbers based on older releses). This means about 70 still out there without winning if there was no overlap.

This is stressing me out- and I have never even tried for one of these.

I don't understand why any maker toy maker would want to make their product exclusive to the point that they cut out the possibility of new fans. I think you guys are grasping at straws, (no offense intended) and making too much out of the poster sale. That said, if he is basing the sale of the sets on the list of people that bought his poster, I could see him doing the same thing with the new Mecha Kong, and Mecha Gorilla-Ju, until the poster is completed.
Regardless of how they're being sold, the sets look amazing, and I think we should all be happy to see these figures being made at all. I wish I could own a set, but I'm happy to see photos. Congrats to you guys that got hooked up.

This seems the most likely. I don't think we have heard from anyone who got an email who didn't get the poster or who won a green Tyranno. I agree it's a bit early to assume that future releases will continue in this fashion though. We will just have to wait and see.
