Honestly, I think you guys are over thinking it.

Well, we know for a fact that only poster winners got a crack at the first Tyranno. Is there some other reason random people got an email and chance to buy this set and others didn't? There has to be some method to the madness... one would think. Unless someone who didn't get the poster got the email, it seems like that is what went down. It is all speculation but it's not often I just get an email offering the chance to but some rare/hyped toys for retail when I haven't entered a lottery. No matter what, I'm not complaining though.

Yes, I really think Hirota have the best ways of distributing his toys/works.
- Available for international.
- Lottery sale (Fair chance for everyone)
- Direct sale for a chance to buy next release. (Not informed - Is the best way for the maker/artist to know who are the true collector that willing to buy anything from him and not because of the after market value. Everyone will buy the direct sale poster if given the information about the chance to buy next release.)
- Direct mail offer (Maybe 2nd chance for poster buyer or maybe lottery loser?. I'm hoping this will be only occasionally way, but who know how Hirota feels if he found out how his toy being flipped.)

I will only complain if he is fixed with the direct mail offer for all future release.
If not, What else can we complain?

i think like most makers, he is probably quite happy and proud to see the kind of prices his stuff are valued at on secondary markets although he may not be too pleased that he is not the one making all those money all the time.

i don't believe it only went to people who won the poster. possibly anyone who entered the poster lotto could be chosen, i.e. if you didn't win the original tyranno ju you still had a shot at the set.

also, people in japan have been selling their sets to some over in the states. poster wasn't the only way to get the set, but for most it was.

I know one person who won the first Tyranno Ju was offered this set.

yeah, i mean, that's fine. i guess i'm just saying that he's basing the people he chooses off of the original poster list.
