In general, I'd say I'm not huge into this dude's sculpts, and only like a few versions of the Gorilla-ju. But this one is definitely towards the top of the list, maybe right behind the green one.

Thanks, i was really blown away with these in hand. I always thought the red gorilla would reign supreme but this yellow one might have just topped him.

Glitter Natives are kinda fun. The blue is cool! I wish the soldier matched.

Plenty of pics have already been posted but I just have to say that these guys blew me away. I never know how I will respond to a popular toy (or any toy I've never had in hand for that matter) and whether or not I will share other peoples enthusiasm. Gorilla-ju is a great toy though; the face and his posture really nail it in my opinion. The paint on this version is beautiful in person. Tyranno really took me by surprise though. I was not feeling the early pictures but kind of came around when people started posting their own pics. In hand he is really a stunner. The proportions and stance are much more upright that it seems in pics and has more of a sofubi feel that I had imagined. The little articulated arms are great and the texture/paint app are much more tactile and vivid in person. Great set of toys all around and I am very happy to finally lay paws on them.

Yeah, the new colors on both the Gorilla-ju and Tyranno are stunning. So bummed my name wasn't pulled.

@Daimyo- The sofubi feel you mentioned is the thing I've been trying to figure out. That's what's "missing" unless you have it on hand, then it becomes obvious.

I hope they are as small as the omakes, lots of articulation on small figures rule.

Yeah but that figure looks small, the sculpt has the same detailing that all the other omake's have.
