 Liquid Television
Did anyone else watch this in MTV's heyday? Late 80's early 90's. I still remember some of these segments and for years wondered if any were available to watch online. Suddenly found this today: http://liquidtelevision.com/videos/liqu ... n-classic/Best still was Stevie Washington (segment appeared in btw videos): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezgjoOjb ... Re: Liquid Television
I used to watch it pretty often. I remember there being a Brothers Grunt spin-off that didn't last very long. Remember when MTV used to be cool? Not that Jersey Shore isn't a guilty pleasure of mine. Snooki's carrying my child.

 Re: Liquid Television
I was a liquid TV junkie !! So many late nights just waiting for this to come on. It's been so long that I remember some but I think my mind has created up what I forgot into cartoons that didn't exist.
Was there ever a robotic roach piloted by a kid ? Thanks for the link, I had no clue MTV were streaming them.

 Re: Liquid Television
I loved liquid television back in the day. I enjoyed aeon flux just for the sheer weirdness, I believe beavis & butthead got their start there too.
there was one serial with a race car being driven by a dead guy... maybe I am remembering things that never existed too?

I liked Speedbump the Roadkill Possum.
Bobby and Billy were funny. Always hated Dog Boy though.

Too bad the site is missing so much stuff - Stick Figure Theatre, Slow Bob, and more that are too foggy to remember well...

 Re: Liquid Television
Yup, definitely spent many many hours watching, waiting for 120 minutes.
One day my I'm going to say to my kid, "when I was your age, I had to wait for the show I wanted to watch to come on." And he's gonna look at me and be like, "whhhuuuuuuuuuut."

 Re: Liquid Television
Thank you Lixx I have been wanting to watch these again for so long. Why don't they release them on DVD? Dog-Boy always reminded me of this Butthole Surfers video.

 Re: Liquid Television
If i'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure The Maxx, Aeon Fluxx, and The Head were all part of Liquid Television. All three are available on DVD from Amazon. Thanks MLB, but they were all series that got their own timeslots eventually (even The Head?). I miss all of the shorts and other oddball stuff they used to play that didn't get as much attention.

 Re: Liquid Television
me too.. it would crush me when we'd get like a 2-3 min aeon flux episode and that would be it.
dog boy and those 2 fashion-y girls in NY were neat too.
