I posted this in my custom thread, but figured I'd share it over here as well.

I'm happy to finally share a small teaser with all of you for an upcoming vinyl release with Max Toy Co! This has been awhile in the making and it's been just about impossible not to shout it out to the world. I want to thank Mark for giving me this awesome opportunity to add a character to his already stellar lineup of kaiju monsters!

I just got the okay to share the name sculpt I did for Yuudoku's header. Here's a 'chop shop' version of it. It'll look a lot different next time you see it.

I'll gloss coat this tonight before I do the final pics of it, but here's the painted name sculpt.

Here's the finished header for Yuudoku. Things are moving forward on the production front in Japan, so I should have a firm release date soon.

Yup this is a double whammy kinda day! Just got a pic of Yuudoku in wax form from Mark, so we figured we might as well share everything with you at this point The wax master is heading to the iron mold factory today, the next time we see him he'll be made of pure sofubi goodness.

The top pics are of the resin master I sent to Japan before I cut it in half, his tentacles are being held on with clay for the pics. Yuudoku will be articulated at 3 points, both tentacles and at the waist. Plus, his removable eye, will come in a variety of colors depending on the mood we're in when popping them in. The bottom pic is Yuudoku in wax that I received from Mark a couple of hours ago.

Wow, congratulations dude. I think yours is still one of the few customs I own.
This looks great. At first I was all, "How are they doing the eye?" Then I saw the wax and figured it'll go in later. I like his back especially, there's a lot of detail there.
So if his eye is removable does it also plug into his back? Also, why is it removable?

Thanks dude!!! The eye is mostly removable bc it has to be taken out during the molding and casting process. So all of the vinyl coming in from Japan will be eyeless and we'll pop them in afterward. Which gives us the freedom to match the eyes to the paint schemes we do.

I love all the texture that you do. I cant wait to see how it translates to vinyl. Congratz!

I just received these pics of Yuudoku's test pull from Mark over at Max Toy Co. Man am I stoked to see him with his eye popped in! We were hoping the first wave of blanks would be ready for SDCC, but due to a heavy work load at the vinyl factory they won't be making it in time. It looks like we'll be about a week late. But the good news is, if you're heading to SDCC, stop by the Dragatomi booth (4935) starting on Friday to check out the test pull. It'll be arriving from Japan and heading straight to SDCC once it gets here.

Also, Mark and Jay222 will be at the Dragatomi booth on Thursday (5pm-6pm) handing out header cards and doing a signing.

The pulls look awesome, but I'm still stoked on this header! So good.

The blanks have arrived at Mark's place and we should have sale date details soon. Can't wait for my lot to get here.
