I might not always like my friends music, but I don't think I COULD be friends with someone who liked Nickleback - like, I don't ever see myself being in a position where I would MEET someone who likes them, let alone meet someone and also think they're someone I want to associate with.

Brian Posehn did a bit on Tough Crowd a couple years back talking about how people blame metal for making people want to murder people. He agreed saying that music in fact does make people want to kill people, "Nickleback makes me want to kill Nickleback!"
