Sorry for adding to the derailment a bit, but a long overdue welcome it seems. You came to the right place Ann - patience pays off. And might I say, excellent first entry into the Splurrt thread!

Well, some of you already know me from other boards. I decided to register here because skullbrain has been a revelation to me since I first discovered the community. I've always loved all kinds of toys, and I consider this board my gateway to Japanese vinyl.

I agree that patience pays off: my account was activated last Friday. In fact, my first entry was about a mash-up toy with a little "splurrt" touch… The "Friday mash-up" thread is one of my favorites!

Good list but I think you should separate it to releases, customs by Joe and other customs else it becomes a little confusing

Yeah, with full size photos too, it is a bit overwhelming to use a reference guide. Maybe a seperated database thread would be better if you really want to keep track, as it is going to be sandwiched in the middle of Joe's thread otherwise.

Anything else guys? There is no way I will be posting actual full size photos, as they will take too much space in the thread, also some of the photos are already full size as is. This is Joe’s thread and he asked me to posted the list here.



I will try to separate Joe’s one-offs from everyone else customs and perhaps to name them.

Sorry for the confusion Dago, I actually meant reducing the size to make this thread more manageable. And I just didn't want to see this requoted every time Joe puts out a new release. If I ever wanted to see all the releases at once, I know there'd be a place for it. Just trying to offer some helpful suggestions after having seen this all done before.

Hey guys, I asked Dago to put the database in this thread, I'm going to keep it updated on page 1. Database threads have a way of taking on a life of their own and becoming a conversational thread, I don't want to clutter the section with multiple threads.

Maybe when Dago makes updates, he can just alter his last post and let me know. Then I'll update page 1.

I think Joe is planning on keeping the list updated on the front page. Maybe Dago could PM Joe an updated list every once in a while and Joe can just copy that PM into the first page of the thread to replace the existing database post.

Yeah I thought it was a little much posting the entire thing again, wasnt really my place to say anything though. Think Joe has the best Idea for updating it.

I actually been notifying Joe of any new updates in the past but for some reason I decided to quoted the entire post this time, from now on I will notify Joe every time the list is updated with new material so he can do the same on his thread. (page 1)
