Okay, I love vinyl, but damn, seeing the 3 3/4" Alien line finally produced is huuuugee to me. I can't believe this was under wraps this long. I am talking about the dreams of a whole generation of 70s/80s children. These kind of action figures are where it all started. I had never heard of ReAction before, but if they are really serious about making these unproduced and concept toys happen, where do I sign up for a subscription?

I've just been going through that link about the other unproduced stuff. Thanks for sharing it, a wealth of information there. The ones I am most sad about not coming to market are the dropship and the Galoob Action Fleet series (I can easily foresee hours and hours of fun with Aliens playsets).

That's indeed a lot of licenses for s7. It seems to be the path all designer toy producers have been taking. I guess there's more money in it?

For some reason I'm drawn to these figments. If they had just a tad more in the sculpt ... Or marble vinyl.

That link shows the Predator 3 3/4 inch non produced prototypes too. S7 def needs to acquire that license also. Especially since the Aliens will 100% be a success no doubt, so the second they can prove that to them I hope they snatch it up, if they haven't been in talks already.....

I don't hate it either. I think DKE advertising it as clear vinyl and then it not being was really odd, but it's a simple and clean sculpt. It's really just a carbon copy of his fine art sculpture 'The Observer', just in toy form. If you're unfamiliar with Brendan Monroe's artwork, he uses this featureless figure image a lot. Honestly though, that $120 price point is a bit high for something that simple. I wouldn't pay that much for it anyway.
