Cool Wolf (?) Michael. What's the story on this guy, is he some kind of bottle topper or something?

dylnx-- that keychain is fantastic. i used to have one that doubled as a bottle opener but i threw it in the trash by accident and never found another one again-- this is a great alternative. thanks!

MA-BA!!! fill the toys with green goo (mine was crusty and dry and puffed into smoke when i opened the box) , squeeze the monster and watch little plastic bones in the goo flow out of his head!

I remember reading about those guys years ago on here. The jiang shi-looking one is my favorite, but they're all so perfect. Congrats on the awesome find!

Got a sick Faction print from Steve Caballero himself. He also put in a signed poster, telling me to “Sk8 For Fun.”

the first 2 Upright Citizens LPs (original German pressing) and some Slapshot EPs from an insane eBay lot.

I've been on the fence about grabbing on of these. I've been told it's basically a Panasonic LX5 with a red dot and nice casing. My camera is held together with duck tape and it's time for a upgrade. I'll probably end up buying a pair of binoculars.

Post Re: The "What You Got In The Mail That Isn't A Vinyl Toy" Th
there's more to it than the case and logo, but yes... they're very similar. i looked at a 5 before i found a MUCH better deal on my 3,
but the main difference between the leica and the panasonic is the processing software, which apparently is better in the leica.
(is it worth the difference in price? that's up to you...) i will say that i've never been happier to own a camera than the day i bought
my first leica, though.

I haven't used an LX5 but a lot of people have been saying its your best alternative to the Leica DLux. This advise, I took it to heart and was planning on scoring the Lumix LX5 just so to experience a life out of my long time partnership with Canon ( Ihave been using an S 95 and a 40 D DLSR). BUT fortunately, I was gifted with this DLUX 5.

I must say, I highly recommend this, form and function. Ease of use and picture/image quality--check! Looks so nice in hand. comes with a Sumicron lens. I don't know if the leather case is a standard accessory, but it is crafted nicely as well. I must say, best point and shoot camera I have ever owned. Of course, I haven't used it much, so in terms of performance, I have yet to see if it will match the durability of my S 95.

I bought a D-Lux 5 because I didn't want to haul my DSLR through Japan. Worked really well although I have had a few problems with downloading pics.
