Incredible boxed ninja arashi talker with sword from the other day. Went for ¥113k. The sword is a little ridiculous looking honestly, cool to finally see one though.

I agree it is definitely cool to finally see on, and now I am not sure what all the fuss is about. I assume it comes out of the scabbard, but even then, the proportions are all off. Doesn't look like he can even hold it too well. It looks far too safe and child-friendly. Maybe all the kids threw them away in disgust

I am a huge fan of these Outer Space Men, and was hoping to be more successful for this original Bullmark King Saturn figure. Couldn't drum up enough cash unfortunately. It didn't end at a ridiculous price, but I thought some folks around here would still appreciate seeing it.

Yeah, the OSM are amazing figures. I've always been kinda torn about them: ideally, I'd want to collect all the bendies...but they're just SO damn fragile. I'd be paranoid just to fiddle with them. The Bullmark vinyls, however, are as durable as any vintage vinyl...but I just don't find them as lovable as the bendies...

It's a long shot, but just out of curiosity, did anyone on here happen to win that jumbo Ninja Arashi? It seemed like a good price to me, but was just out of my budget unfortunately. Nice condition, and mostly complete (no sword of course).

I was sitting there ready to bid but couldnt really afford what the final bid would have been. It was a pretty decent price though considering the last one (that I know of) went for 50k complete.

Yeah, I was expecting to pay a bit of a premium since they don't pop up all that often, and am not so concerned over completeness, but the ol' wallet just couldn't cough up any more pennies. Would have really liked to add this guy to the collection in any other situation. Here are some photos for posterity, while they are still up.

Not all the Marusan OGs go that high, I just missed out on one for super cheap (2500 if you can believe it), since I couldn't get an extra bid in in time. I wasn't watching that guy, but noticed the crazy price already this morning when I was on YJA and it was a "hot item." This is the kind of thing that makes me appreciate re-issues, at least I will be able to afford them.

It then dragged on from 79 bids to 103

Here's another I was watching. Went for 41200 yen. Some of these seem pretty common though. Guess given the amount of mini's it's a fair price. Maybe it was condition and the rare Popy Dabulas? Is that pretty rare (yes I'd love to own one)?:
