Also, on the Leatherface Kids maybe some of you have seen the preview on Gabes Instagram. It's a pretty crazy package from his art to the hair plugs, bloody aprons, and bloody cleaver. I can't really take credit for it, Paul (Pyro) did the paint, plugged the hair, made the aprons, found the accessories and painted them.
Preemptive comment on Paul because I know some of the rumors, and rumors and misinformation can spread like wildfire on here. I tell Paul he should speak up to defend himself. But to him it's just not worth it. But I'll just lay a few rumors to rest, he's not batman collector. He didnt sell or shill bid a gid nag ball. He won that lotto and its his choice what he collects and what he spends. And one last thing he didn't want any payment for his work he didn't even want to be covered for materials. He also wanted his name left off promotions so it wouldn't stir the pot. But I can't in good conscience do that. So good work Gabe and Paul on this crazy homage. Really excited about this release Pyro and Gabe killed it! Leahterface C.K. for the win!

Besides the regular releases there is always going to be those hard to find pieces that only few people will have the privilege to own. That is what makes one collection different than the other one.

Re: SPLURRT Coma has every official release. Which factoring in the early hell is where the heart is and friends only micros is pretty crazy. There are a few blanks that trickle out here and there but I wouldn't consider them actual releases. CK and Diggler are both smaller figures, so I think if you're going to collect them they look best in a group, so I wanted to populate the figures with smaller artist runs, and micro runs, mixed in with the larger releses. Kind of make it easy for people to put together a nice unique colorful group. I didn't initially plan on anyone trying to be complete, But there are plenty of guys out there in that 10+ figure range, which is pretty amazing to me.
But I'm going to slow it down here with the artist collabs (still have a few planned that need to materialize) now that there's a nice back catalogue out there to chase. And change focus to sculpting some new figures. and doing fewer but larger releases. Should be doing the first Usir release next month, and then the first mecha brain release in Sept. Then going big for NYCC.

Re: SPLURRT I think that is a major part of what attracts those of us into it, into it. That, and the fact that your love and enjoyment for the art really comes through by making such a fun, creative toy and spreading it around for all of us to share the love. Sure there are some I am missing, but I am not forelorn over it or anything, because you've released so many great ones I have had a chance at others I love too. Thanks Joe and to all the collaborating artists.
