Nice pics Sanjeev. hanks for sharing them, keeps me excited for my delivery of mine tomorrow. He looks nice and beefy. I wondered if anyone snagged multiples.

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
Well that was weird. Sorry--had to nuke the previous post and rehost my pics. Anyway, here they are again: The truly monstrous Wraith arrived last night. Holy shit. It's pretty damn incredible... It was 95 degrees last night when I cracked open the box and started messing with him, so the parts popped apart real easily (not really intended with this crazy build)...but this morning, it had cooled off, and the figure's nice a solid. The feet can be a little finicky to pose, but I didn't have any problems taking these shots. There's really nothing to complain about. The PVC bits attach nice and sturdy, none of the joints are floppy. The cape parts look INCREDIBLE--I think Jesse washed them with some watered-down glue or something to toughen them up and help them keep their "pose". The overall figure looks JUST as hot as it did in the promo pics. If you slept on this...well...you done fucked up. keiboba wrote: Nice pics Sanjeev. hanks for sharing them, keeps me excited for my delivery of mine tomorrow. He looks nice and beefy. I wondered if anyone snagged multiples. Glad you like the pics--I shot them with my phone on the way out the door this morning! I thought the light from the window made him look a little extra badass! Anyway, yeah, the form of the figure's really weird (in a good way). Like, he feels beefy in hand, but the arms and legs are kinda spindly, which gives him a sort of spider-like appearance. As long as he stays nice a sturdy and doesn't topple over all the time, I'm good. But regarding multiples, I'm guessing because of the $200 pricepoint and because it took so long for them to sell out, few folks (if any) got more than one. $200 is hardly outlandish for us Japanese vinyl collectors...but it's a mint for a Glyos toy. I think it's worth it though. I've only messed around with it a little, but I've already gotten more "play value" than with many similarly-priced modern vinyls. I'll try to take some more (well-lit) pics soon....along with some size comparison shots with other vinyls.

Wraith looks stunning. I couldn't swing the $200, but I am eagerly awaiting Hexxer, and clear Callgrim.

I gave up on trying to keep up with Glyos years ago but the red fella above (helmeted particularly) made me go "whoa!"

I collect a LOT of Onell. I've got every Armodoc, almost every Rig, and quite a few of the RxH Crossovers, I just can't get enough of them. I picked up my fair share of stuff last night. This is the stuff that keeps me going!

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
Quote: The Armorvor utilize Delphi designed Black Core Survival Suits, which function like a second skin and keep the user protected from virtually any environment, as well as the effects of Phase Dimensional travel.
The firepower of one Survival Suit, used by a skilled operator, can rival that of a Heavy Armored Rig. Though the Rigs also use Black Core in their construction, the Armorvor were able to master the use of this mysterious substance over many cycles during their exile in Zorennor, achieving another level of technological symbiosis with their hardware as they evolved over time.
Combined, these facts effectively make a single Armorvor the equivalent of a one man army.

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
Got my Venjorun the other day. VERY tight!
He's a beefy lil dude...great proportions...solid feel in your hands. The alternate head(s) are great, too. The only thing I would've loved to have seen woulda been weapons for this guy. The sculpt is so nicely rendered, standard Glyos-construct guns don't look *quite* right to me. They're too basic-looking even though they totally work for other Glyos characters. This guy's screaming for some cool scifi guns and maybe some sharp and/or pointy stuff!

I've been using the backpack piece as a TNG-style phaser.
Such a great little figure, I still can't believe it was only $8.

I think for something like the armorvor, a sword/saber might be the perfect weapon for it. Well that or anything translucent

Spy Monkey Creations makes Glyos compatible weapons, I'm sure something in their arsenal would work well for the Armovor's. http://www.spymonkeycreations.com/p/store-2.html

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
I love the Spy Monkey weapons, but they look a bit too old fashioned. What I had in mind was a bit more like what you'd see a Gundam wielding!
Heh...and as much as I like the Battle Beast-inspired design, I actually don't really like animal-themed stuff. So I've been using the backpack as the figure's head--and the helmeted head as a backpack--to make him like a Hammer drone from Iron Man II!

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
The drawback of the spymonkey stuff is that it's scaled for Masters of the Universe Classics. Using it as-intended on Glyos looks huge. Great individual glyos parts, not so workable as swords and whatnot.

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
I really need to add a Nibbler to my collection. Matt confirmed in blog comments that the awesome Delphi is scheduled for production, and will hopefully hit by the end of the year! Likely an all-new sculpt based on the Custom Corps Delphi: There are are also multiple variant eye-colors on the Armovor. So sound off if you've found one! My buddy Adam is doing yeoman work keeping track of this stuff at one of his many, many blogs: http://glyosnewsdump.blogspot.com/2012/ ... lease.htmlI appreciate it, because I often skip the comments on the official Glyos blog.

The last drop saw a HUGE influx of new folks, and the Armos sold out instantly again. Lots more coming in October and November: http://onelldesign.blogspot.com/2012/09/thank-you.html

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
I didn't really watch the drop as I wasn't particularly psyched about the Armorvor color schemes (and I'm mostly happy with the couple red ones I managed to get from the first release). But, yeah, I guess the Armorvor is attracting a LOT of Battle Beasts fans...I just hope they're buying Matt's other toys and not just the Armorvor.
I mean, I like the thing well enough, but I feel it's a bit too much of a break from the rest of the Glyos' aesthetic. I was honestly hoping the Armorvor would be in its own separate-but-related universe. Maybe something a degree or two of separation...like something in between Callgrim and the OSM. Anyway, again, it's great...but it'd be a shame to see interest in the core Glyos stuff wane in popularity (not because of the Armorvor, of course, but I get the impression from Matt's posts that people aren't buying as much during the drops these days... :/ ).

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
but still enough to sell out which is good. It seems like there's a huge gap in what's popular/coveted and what's not, with how long some things sit from each release though.
I will admit, I'm not much of a fan of the phaseons and the DSGs pretty much killed my desire for regular glyans.

I liked seeing Matt's development of sketches of the Armovor* that helped me accept it as an adjunct of the glyos universe. I still can't get enough of the regular traveler builds though. They are to me this perfect toy. * http://onelldesign.blogspot.com/2012/08 ... cepts.html
