Oh shoot, you have the super uber-rare no-cape vinyl Jawa. Love the BSG guys, but why no Cylon love (okay, excluding Lucifer and Imperious leader, guess I should say why no Centurions)?

Haha. :D my jawa has a nylon cloth cape/robe, but when wearing it, it looks like I just have a random wad of cloth sitting on my shelf. Its so enormous and totally buries the little guy. So I keep it in my box of undisplayable accessories, like the crystar looking glass things and somewhere around 6000 Joe weapons. :D As for the 2 versions of cylons, I want them. I have their guns. But both the silver and gold were painted with metallic paint that chips and/or wears away easily. I just haven't found one in the condition I like without having to fork out a fortune yet. I do have a cylon raider with a little 2" cylon pilot....I also need the dark brown variant daggit too, and I would actually like to get about 12 of the silver cylons to have an army of them!

It was a limited selection, a 12 pack and some 3 packs, but they had them up here in Maine.

Haha, wow. Colonel Sanders, Casey Jones, Andre the Giant, Ash, Mr. T., the Dude and tons of other references in those toys. Are they trying to appeal to kids or mid-to-late 20-somethings like me?

I think they are my favorite 3 3/4 inch action figure.
Universal monsters rule. I just need the creature from the black lagoon to complete my set.

Those appear to be Voltron bad guys. From the 80s. They're Great figures. I happen to have at least two of those. I love their design. Not much interested in the good guys from the line, but the space baddies characters are quite cool.

EDIT: Man, I forgot all about Crystar! Lovin' that whole shelf.

EDIT AGAIN: SLM, I have the blue crystal dragon from Crystar if you're ever interested in trading. I like him a lot, but there are definitely other pieces I'd like more.

^^How un-broken is your crystal dragon (if broken at all, many of them are broken)?
I might be interested if slm passes.

I have very little interest in Batman toys, but this Dark Knight Returns 6" figure coming out from Mattel early next year will be mine! I always loved the look of that book and seeing The Four Horsemen interpret it is too cool.

it's just too bad that I won't be renewing my subscription for 2013. I refuse to give in to their supposed price hikes.

Great photo!! I like that your shoe collection shares space with your toy collection!
I think a lot of people feel that way, or at least that's why Matty wants to bump the price.
I never got into collecting these, but the star sisters are pretty rad. Trying to complete the vintage collection is hard enough.

I didn't even know there was a subscription, but that sounds like a very awesome idea. I wouln't have the funds for a year of toys, but there are definitely a lot on your wall I would not mind having at all. Were there a lot of exclusives sold this way then, and how much did it amount to, if you don't mind saying?

Unfortunately, the window for the sub has passed.

MOTUC is something I'd like to get into more, but can't afford it. Draego-man was awesome this year, one of the few I bought: http://www.itsalltrue.net/?p=18866

Post Re: Non- Vinyl American toys
Thanks for the info guys. Not something I would be able to afford, but as I said, I really like the idea of it. The main thing is it is so hard to get modern toys in this bloody country. Basically any kind of action figure collector is relegated to the after market or getting hookups through the US. I still love the vintage MOTU, but without question I would have bought some of the guys from this series.
