 Re: Target Earth
For the record, I think that's the only version of Karakk to have ever been released. At least I hope so. He's definitely one of my favorite toys and that Mandarake price is ridiculous. I've only ever seen two on the aftermarket -- mine and that one.

 Re: Target Earth
There seriously needs to be another! Even unpainted I'd take, and I don't go for unpainted usually. So cool. I think a red or forest green would be cool. Anyway, I'm so bummed I missed it that day. Such a cool figure.

#HYPE 2500 yen is ridiculous?! That's a great price! I too had numerous chances to get ol' Karakk and never did. I did see his pic on tumblr recently and it reminded me of missed chances:

Still looking for that white one that I mentioned over four years ago in the third post in this thread. Or what about poor pollution monster Gyaoh that never came out:

Didn't realize it was on green vinyl, I always thought it was black. So cool.

 Re: Target Earth
Do a search for Octoman, the movie (1971), there's your reference.
Edit: early Work of Rick Baker on the Octo suit.

 Re: Target Earth
Some more early head sculpts... Baphomet Chupacabra Martian The Baphomet head sculpt looks really interesting. Don't really care for the other two but that might change.

The Baphomet looks like the devil in The Devil Rides Out, hammer film with Chris Lee.

nice pic Joe, looks much better than the original sales pic. I kinda regret not getting one now. I love his Gamerudon shaped nose.

 Re: Target Earth
My original worry was about the thinness of the waist. But in hand it doesn't seem to thin at all.
