I really like the new sculpt! But how is the alien gonna hold the omake without thumbs?

my take on this is that it's just another omake to use for his next release of the MG2. same as he's done before with the male/female and rocket/soldier omakes.

But it looks like it's fully articulated. The omake aren't usually articulated are they?

Well I was just judging from the seam size, that it appears omake (or mid-sized) scale. Love having articulation on it though (you know, in that imagination land where I might actually own one).

It's the same articulation as the omakes with the previous MG2's.

Ah man, Stretch Monster?!?! Are you fucking kidding me, I used to have one of these when I was a kid, one of my favourite toys!! Super heavy and such a great head sculpt. Back to HS, nice sculpt but the colourway doesn't excite me... how about something a bit closer to the original, green vinyl perhaps and some wild colourway?

i remember seeing those everywhere as a kid. in retrospect the dude had a mullet and was always in a leotard.

were there two versions of the first mecha gorilla ju? it looks unquestionably blue in a lot of pictures, but in some others it looks black. like this one:

Agreed. Look at the fist on the left and you'll see it. The black background is playing a trick on your eyes.

ok, i figured there probably weren't two versions of it. bums me out a bit, cuz i really like the black+red look as opposed to the actual black one with the blue midsection.

That vinyl color is blue55, same as these.

The base for that last mecha ju is gray. But I think you're right, the first two are very similar in color, despite the go ju being semi-translucent. There's an unmistakable richness to it.
