Thanks! I only have one shelf of vintage but really like the advertising mascots and piggy banks. I've found a few here at car boot and garage sales. Most of my pieces have come from a trip to Japan and hunting bargains on yja.

Here is some more stuff. Kaeru Kewpie is one of my favourites. Was a gift from a good friend. Gold Mario is from my video game collecting days. Super Famicom window display promo item. Made of hard but light fibreglass type material. Panny Kendo guy is a big piggy bank.

Not vintage, but super cute Marmit baby Gamera. It has a plug on the bottom like a wind-up or candy style figure. As far as I know this was only released as a Wonderfest pack with a standart sized crawling Gamera /w finger puppet and standard sized crawling Barugon /w finger puppet all in GID.

large version of Mordicus, the oscar the grouch equivalent from Rue Sesame, the french co-production of sesame street. been after this for a long while and finally got him from a US seller. not i need to find the Toccata (french big-bird) that goes with him!.

anyone have any idea who the fella on the left is? has a squeaker and some markings i've never seen (2nd photo.) i don't know what he is but i like him!
