Tough call! I really like my GID painted Greasebat, but I think I'll have to go with my custom Garuru from Kazu. He was just a real sweet guy when I asked for the commission and charged a great price. Plus it's pretty. Garuru fan for life now.

So tough to choose just one! For me its got to be Hipporito Seijin by M1-Go. I love toys that are in-your-face weird plus heavily textured and this one has got that in abundance. It also glows really bright! - I'm still looking for the Pink GID version . . . . I've got the blue/fleshy one on my desk right now.

Re: My MOST Favorite Toy From My Collection @ This Time Is .
Like everyone here I love a lot of toys for a lot of reasons and, like many of us, I've been collecting Japanese monsters since long before I showed up in this excellent place. In fact, I've been pining for toys of kaiju from Ultraman pretty much since the moment I first saw the show, almost twenty years longer than when I figured out I could actually have some! There's no love lost for anything I found before I first saw the toy on the right... ...but when I first laid eyes on Buta's Keronia something in me snapped - I seriously felt like I was spanning time! The sculpt perfectly captured the essence of the character, but with details that softened the menace of the monster yet didn't carry him into a goofy cartoon realm. Everything about it made me feel like I was 5 or 6 again; I was giddy and filled with a powerful need to PLAY! Much to my amazement (and in trade for the guy on the right), just a couple of months later he was mine! In hand I was even more amazed by this little fellow - the red slash of his lips, those vivid yellow eyes, the crimson splots on his milky green flesh... I'm swooning to this very day!

Re: My MOST Favorite Toy From My Collection @ This Time Is .
This is a great idea for a thread! Here's my current favorite: Nothing fancy or rare, but out of all of the Hedorah figures I've seen by far my favorite. The sculpt and the paint give it such a goopy, oily look, all packed into a figure less than three inches tall! Plus I got this figure during my first (and only) trip to the Super7 store, a couple years back when they were at the old location. I've been wanting to get back up there ever since to check out the new store and hopefully pick up something else as awesome as this.
