Hell yes!

I just started this video game TV series.

It's pretty crazy. Basically its about the dude who challenges himself to beat old retro games in one sitting, no matter how hard or long they are. And then goes out in the city to find some rare video game treasures.
They made a game for the DS, Retro Game Challenge, which was based off of this TV series.

Is it really worth getting? I was initially excited about the release but other than the improved graphics, it's just a port of the original. As much as I love that game, I'm wondering if digging out the Dreamcast is just as good.

As for myself, it's Resident Evil 6 demo and Starcraft 2. Demos are often rushed, but this one feels even more so. It's difficult to form an opinion about latest round of changes to the franchise. My playing Starcraft 2 again is a complete mystery. Going through the initial set-up and having to remember build order is more tedium than fun.

The Game Center DX game and series are both awesome. I only got the first one for DS, I never played the other one.

As usual started too many games at once so slowly rotating:
Darksiders 2: I like it so far, but think it'll get repetitive and boring
Borderlands 2: love it so far. The humor, gun variety and focus on solo/co op instead of just death match all make me happy.
FIFA 13: I suck at it but I love that I really have to try. I was destroying madden and it was getting old. Its much more gratifying making a good run and setting up someone with a great pass for a goal.

I'm also picking up re6 tomorrow. Didn't play the demo on purpose, hopefully will be the usual re fun. I've played them all and haven't found 1 I truly hated. Well from the numbered series.

I started playing SubwaySurfers yesterday, its got everything this forum loves: graffitti, big shoe'd urbanized characters, etc

basically its Temple Run, through a train yard.

The second playthrough was way easier just because you knew what to expect.

We're currently trying to beat Ninja Gaiden 3 right now. That game is brutal because you only have 5 continues.

Funny how every other game in the series (perhaps with the exception of the Wonder Swan version) is so much easier. IMO, anyways.

This is true. Playing through Ultimate Ghost n' Goblins. Its hard, but not impossible.
I'm on Stage 2-2. Death Castle.

And on another note, I think Megaman 1 was made by Satan to torture gamers in Hell.

It's tough, the main problem is if you fall on a spike even after you get hit by an enemy you die. You get a grace period in the rest of the games.

And just when I thought I was getting the hang of this game they introduce instant-kill lava, flying dragons and earthquakes.

Also, if you have a PS3, but don't have Playstation Plus, you're totally missing out. The amount of free games I was given for the price is incredible. I'm serious, get on that.

Yeah I saw they are giving out King of Fighters XIII right now. Pretty cool. I need to sign up!

Well, I got the final Gate on Ultimate Ghost n' Goblins, didn't have enough rings, so am now forced to replay all the levels to get enough rings to fight the final Boss. 22 will allow you to FIGHT the final boss, but get the "ReRun" ending. 33 will Let you fight the Final and you get the true ending.
But as of right now, I'd be happy just to see the final boss and then take a break.
Need to start playing some other games!


Oh, and I started Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.
So far, as in 20mins in, its interesting.
Not sure if I want to tackle this kind of game now, or continue with "halloween" themed games this month and play some Castlevania.

*EDIT: After failing a battle in Strange Journey, I decided to take it out and move on to another game.
