Did not even know than Blanquet had his visions made in toys...
He's French, dangit, could we AT LEAST have some of these over here !!! :? :!:

She would go well next to some of Hino's sofubi.

Yes, Betty Hairy Honey was masterfully produced by Lulubell Japan. The amount of detail put into that sculpt is pretty impressive and it translates Blanquet's visions so well! The Artist was certainly pleased with the final result, and he mentioned his first vinyl toy three times on his own blog (august 2010, december 2010 and april 2012).

Have you ever seen his handmade cloth dolls and cardboard puppets?

I think Stéphane Blanquet's Betty Hairy Honey would love to meet Hideshi Hino's Bug Boy!

I think that this one is my current favorite...

Aside from the fact that it is visually stunning, it has some great memories attached to it.

this was a gift from john. i was trick-or-treating with my daughter on halloween a few years ago, and randomly got a message on my phone saying i had been picked as the lucky beakfc member to win this. he painted on the toy every single day for an entire year, then filled it with pennies and put a vintage stay puft head on top. by far the coolest toy gift i have ever received, and i will always cherish it!

That's really cool, wing clipper. I love that idea of painting a toy once a day for a year.

Haha. Well put! ;) Yeah, I think I unbag every piece I get now. Taking pics for te "What You Got In The Mail" thread got me in the habit of releasing them. Ha, although truthfully, they have to go right back in, cause I'm forced to store my collection at the moment. It SUX

I don't have a lot of stuff left in my collection, but I love my B-Club Bandera. So goofy. There aren't many toys that look so much like the rubber suit from the TV show.

The Charactics Godzilla mini is awesome. I also love that it is obviously Godzilla, in a tank, yet they feel the need to print that on the side of the tank anyway.

Wait, what does it say on the side? "Godzilla" or "GodzillaTank" because both are awesome.

I say it a lot about new releases "this is my current favorite piece", but really this One is. I LOVE the idea of the quadruple stump!

He totally reminds me of this, even though he may technically be a little more than One:
