info, pls? I would say the paper is fairly thick for a poster and is semi gloss finish.

so the paper does not absorb grease or show finger prints etc.
i have an old Cocobat poster thats very similar in quality.........
personally i love the HS flyer/ad it looks like its from the 70's

But the paper like kichigai stated does seem much higher in quality than that of a B1 size .

So I'm assuming if there's a run of 30, 30 people who bought posters were notified for the Mecha Ju. Then on the next release, 30 more people. Once most people who bought posters had a chance at buying a figure it went back to lottery.
I think it's cool he does that. The idea I guess is that if you bought a poster your actually a fan of his figures. But unfortunately this is a business to some people so they join just to make a buck.

But all in all I believe it was done the first time around as a thank you/bonus for people who simply loved the artwork. Think about it, the first poster sale had no hype or buzz so the people who bought it were fans of the artwork that Hirota personally had commissioned. I didn't buy the first poster and I missed out but I still thought it was a cool thing to do.
