Sorry. Newb..question but what is the difference between pulling clear vinyl versus a colored version? What validation does pulling clear have over pulling a solid color?

I know that in the past...that clear vinyl had a habit off yellowing but what is the current conundrum regarding it.

Bubbles/imperfections I have to assume.

^^
I get that but I was under the assumption that that still could happen with solid vinyl.

Bubbles inside the plastic, showing through and prolly they have to experiment with the formula as to not make it too brittle or too gummy when it cures. Its a damn art, indeed.

Clear vinyl is the benchmark for quality because they don't degas rotocast (Chinese) vinyl so clear without bubbles is rare.

I've handled the Buff toy, the Kozik bust and and Butchers Ape and they're all nice but Veracious does have ways to go still.

I was under the impression that the cheap pelletized vinyl they start with in Chinese vinyl production (ala KR) cannot produce clear vinyl and that you had to use a quality base vinyl to even get clear that was actually clear and not cloudy and littered with imperfections. Just going off something I was told though, no idea of its validity.

Interesting, the info is appreciated.

Anyone know how to get in touch with the veracious folks?
