Re: Star Case Robo Viceroy Gulmeyer
the latest gid 2 pack is a bit strange. it says lottery in the japanese text but seems to be made to order from the english text and u can even specify the number of sets to order. anyhow, nice to have such a hassle free sale of these guys from time to time especially on gid vinyl.

Re: Star Case Robo Viceroy Gulmeyer
If this was open order, I sure wish someone would have posted about it. There aren't too many of us really into the Star Case guys, I think it is safe to say we are not hyping it. Can someone let me know either way if it is over, the shopping site is now gone, so I am guessing the opportunity has passed. So shitty.

Re: Star Case Robo Viceroy Gulmeyer
I believe they were only available on the 24th Japan time for the entire day. Not too sure if they were made to order though. I was under the impression it was on a "first come first serve basis". Regardless these guys are great!!!

Re: Star Case Robo Viceroy Gulmeyer
Yeah, never quite sure what the sales method is. Both "lottery" and "first come / first served" were mentioned during this release...but it could also be an open order. Who knows. I think he probably has a boilerplate translation that he uses for every release, and doesn't bother to change/re-translate based on how the sales are conducted.

Re: Star Case Robo Viceroy Gulmeyer
Oh man, so sweet. One of the best GID figures I have ever seen. Really wish I hadn't missed out. Kinda sad to see they were already sold on YJA, but not so surprised.

Re: Star Case Robo Viceroy Gulmeyer
Yeah, I'm really happy that, after the SW Fest in FL (?), he decided to make another GID set and make it readily available to anyone who wanted a set. And I really like the red/blue accents a lot more than the silver/gold. So glad that I didn't spend $300 on the first set...not that I ever would have, just saying. And now I have all three Dester Commando helmets!

Re: Star Case Robo Viceroy Gulmeyer
I think its another case of lost in translation.
It is the usual lottery and not a made to order release. I got mine fairly quickly from the lottery date. Also judging from the going rate on YJA it looked like the usual run size.

Re: Star Case Robo Viceroy Gulmeyer
So I have it on good authority (had a friend who stopped by the shop in Japan in October) that the next release is the Luke Xwing type figure, I imagine it'll be based on this guy: Only problem is my friend saw a prototype in October, and I've been checking the site for an update, but haven't seen him yet. can't wait though!

I like the harlock! Other than the main sw characters, also hope to see starcase's take on x-wings and tie-fighters down the road
