Same here. Adventure Time and Regular Show are my two favorite shows on TV right now.

I think Regular Show is one of the best cartoon since Spongebob and Ren & Stimpy.
Its brilliant, fun, really good 80s/videogame tributes and what is there not to love about a blue jay and a raccoon?!
Now get back to work or you're FIRED!

;)

My wife, the kiddo and I all love Regular Show.

Every now then when have to tell the little one to do something, she'll reply with "You know who else ____ ? My mom!" in the Muscle Man voice. I shouldn't laugh, but I do.

Let's talk about this though... IS THAT NOT THE GREATEST THEME TO A SHOW EVER? It's just like an eight second blip, but it's so good.

LOVED the VHS episode, and Death Bear was great. Very 80s.

Party Pete is another all-time favorite for me.

Post Re: Regular Show
I just stumbled into this show yesterday morning. I had zonked in a chair in the front room and awoke to some animals hurtling toward space, desperately trying to exchange slips from fortune cookies in midair, chaos all around them. I hit the magic button to go back a couple of minutes to see a gumball machine paying for mountains of dim sum. Fut the wuck?

I hit record and forgot about it for a few hours. When I sat down in front of the box again I witnessed the same gumball machine get so angry that he turned into a living sun, his gravitational pull so strong that all things around him were drawn to his now-burning surface and destroyed.

Since then I've met a VHS-format snob, some very patient animatronic jewel thieves, a bitter and vengeful vending machine, a couple of violent and hungry holograms, a killer bear who appears to have been in the German army, and yes, I now know the calming effects that a whole wheat doughnut possess.

Hooked.

Best season premier ever. The finest reward I can possibly imagine for having crammed all 81 of their other adventurlets into my brain in under a month. Hold the line!

I'm currently doing this as well, this week. I'm in the middle of Season 3. Any scene with Pops is automatically my favorite, I love Pops' character so much. "Someone's dropped a shilling." (falls on his face and just laughs)

This show has been my favorite (in a tie against Breaking Bad) for years now. I'm about 2 weeks behind on this season since I recently moved and forgot to set the DVR to record anything. I need to catch up.
I'm always bummed when I tell my friends w/kids about the show and nobody's kid ever gets into it

Blake does not mean the theme song. He means the free ring-tone that CN put on their site last year.
"Ra-ha-ringtone pick up your phone. Ra-ha-ringtone pick up your phone.
De De Dee Dee De Dee Dee Dee Bee Bee Boop!
Pick up your telephone because you hear your ring tone!"

If you aren't familiar, you need to familiarize yourself. It's good.

I watched an episode or two of both this and Adventure Time - probably not enough to judge whether it's age appropriate for my kids (2 and 4). Are they?

Adventure Time i'd go out on a limb and say it's okay, Regular show I don't think so. As with all cartoons they'll have adult references every so often that kids probably won't pick up.

Been a fan of AT for a while and just recently picked up regular show. Great show, Christmas special was really good. Need to start from the beginning!
