 exohead
Anyone know about this company, Exohead???? I am soooo very keen on the "Man Machine - Iggy and Andy" figures. They are really insane and have me pretty excited for them. I have emailed about ordering but from what I have read on here I don't expect much of an answer.

I wonder how big the runs of their toys are?? I like the costums that go over the figure but for some reason the figure underneath just looks goofy.

have no fear Super7 is way ahead of you on ths and has quantity of all three releases and stuff that hasn't been mentioned yet already on the way! Unfortunately, not as cheap as it could be, but coming nonetheless.

I have been in touch with the guy about ordering, but would feel better ordering from S7. Is it possible to put my name down for "Andy" and "Iggy"??
What might the cost come in at?
Great news tho!!

Do you think these will be much over the price listed on the site - $35 seems pretty good and if its around that ballpark two would be possible for me

That price is in Japan, he is looking to jack up the price a bit for orders outside of Japan.
Looks like the figures are 14.5cm looking at the site. Close to 6".

Well, I have pulled the trigger and ordered 2 of these guys. My first order direct into Japan. Real damn nervous about this. Hate using Money orders, but had to be done. Will let the kids know here how I fare.
Really like these guys. Under the costume I guess they do look a little goofy, but more creepy I think. Like a misformed clone creepy. Sweetly transparent too!! And removeable masks!!!

I think the fig is a nice foundation for the creation of some really strange suit possibilities! Can't wait to see what else they do!

I asked the guy how many of each figure was made and when and this is the response I got:
"This time is the first commodity of Exohead.
Because it is an independent music work, each commodity is small amount"
so what do you think he means by an independent music work?????

Maybe he was using a computerized translation system too.
Surprised it didn't say, "the commodity of light gathering moth." LOL
Maybe each figure comes with an alien suit electro-funk-boogie LP!

Actually it is a music related project with Fishtone records.

VGA - Glad they are growing on you!! Ha ha ha, just what we all need another company to collect from!! I think these figures really grow on you, and they have great scope for future editions.
The guy can be a little hard to understand.
Paul - How did you find out all that info? The link didn't work, but would love to see his collection. These figures are pretty well inspired by the Henshin/Microman gear by the looks which is what makes them so cool to me I think.

Not sure on our final price yet, But we will hopefully have our final invoice today. Exo-head has just started, there have only been these three (2 suit) releases. The body looks a lot like a vintage bootleg shonen boy vinyl, but the head looks completely different.

The legacy of Henshin Cyborg lives on yet again in ExoHead, and goes to show that Muton really is your friend, especially if you are a Japanese toy designer!
