 Re: Prometheus trailer I like that the guy calls his own analysis "mind-blowing" and WARNS us that there are CONTROVERSIAL IDEAS within. Very modest.
This movie sucked. The filmmakers confused being cryptic with being deep.

Re: Prometheus trailer I was so incredibly disappointed with this movie. I felt like most of the visually beautiful moments were in the trailer and that the story/mythology was weak and confused. However for some reason watching both the parodic and the over-serious fan reviews of the movie makes me want to see it again. There is something wrong with me.
On a more positive note, I did think the movie succeeded in creating an atmosphere of true weirdness at times. Kinda liked that.
Maybe I'll think better of it on second viewing with lowered expectations.

Re: Prometheus trailer It's like any other Lindelof plot, looks like a great concept and when it's backed by big studio might be something great. Then you get duped and realize it's filled with more plot holes than a block of Swiss cheese.
