At the Vancouver airport. This man:

sits down right in front of me. If I look past my computer screen I am gawking at him.

I want to introduce myself but it is a private lounge and I think he wants to be left alone. He is looking at some book with an magnifying glass.

This is a strange end to an odd week.

you could always do what i do when i see celebrities, just nod or say hi.

usually doing only that, they know you respect their privacy if they want it, or they'll think you're a nice guy and start talking to you.

saying hi isnt a bad thing :)

Every time I go to Kennedy or Laguardia airport to pick up my mom when she returns from Ireland I see someone famous. In the early 90's it was the Cranberries coming off the same plane. A few years later it was Davey Jones from the Monkees, then it was Wierd Al Yankovic, a few years after that was Liam Neeson.
I go to pick her up on Tuesday. Can't wait to see who I run into this time.

a few months ago i ran into this guy at an indian restaurant called Paru in Hollywood

i was half drunk, and he was at the next table. every so often i would do that "i'm crushing your head" thing to him, and say outloud "i am crushing your head right now". he was not amused.

A store about Mark Foley cam on CNN and I looked up when I heard "Foley" and we made eye contact so....

....I walked up to him and said "you're the guy from that poker show right? Nah just kidding I have been a fan since kids in the hall. nice to see you, my name is glenn."

he shook my hand and now I am sitting down being nervous and typing about it.

I met Dave Foley!
