toy retailer/wholesale questions.
I intend to buy a few tables at the next local toy show to try to sell off my star wars collection.
I was also thinking about selling some random japanese toys and see if there is any interest for it here. I was thinking of starting off with bearbricks and things of that nature. I know that some of you have / had toy stores or do random online sales. so if you could answer some questions:
Who distributes such products (bearbricks) in the United States?
Maybe Diamond? I looked into their site and they have a min. of $400 dollars, not so much a problem but i think they require monthly orders which I do not want to do.
Can anyone recommend resources for toy retailers, wholesellers etc?
any info, advice, would be helpful.
The show is the first week in Dec. so i sort of need to act quickly.

well.. if you want to buy wholesale... you need a business license . What you could do is at a convention/show towards the end you can try to buy stuff in bulk from dealers at a steep discount because they don't want to haul their shit home.
With Diamond... if you do not have an account, you could always try to see if you could order along with other people or even piggyback with a close by comic store. They might not mind, because your order could help them get into another discount bracket... although if all you want to do is just go in with a one-time order with them, i dunno if you could make it worth their while.
ah... i dunno if that was any help.
