I liked this years bags (despite putting more than half up for trade/sale ). Honestly just the Deathra and painted Tree guys made it interesting enough for me.

I do wish Garg took more chances on the LB's though. It seems like their 1 chance a year to really crank out weird stuff that may not be as popular (Bakos, fight figures, smoking corps, etc.) but still sell them out. I just wish there was more random variety vs. the somewhat systematic setup we've seen the past few years. I mean within less than a week you KNOW you'll kinda get bag A or B, and what the mix up will be most likely. I wish it was way more crazy and mixed. Small runs of Fights (not every bag would have one!) or random 1 offs of weird figures like the Unchis. There's a lot of newer people collecting who weren't around when those types of toys dropped, maybe this could be a way to pull them into that and surprise and delight some older fans too?

I'm glad they randomly tossed in some zodiac figures this time, I didn't get one but it's a cool surprise!

Anyway, not really pulling a "let me tell them what to do" so much as a wish statement. But I do like this bag more than last years even with no Zags.

I agree with you about the mix . It would be great if they were completely random but they have always been systematic setups. I can't recall a year when they weren't. It seems like it's been like that dating back... 2007.

That doesn't sound promising for online sales. Oh well, I may just have to miss out. The thing I wanted the most from the bag is a Deathra, which I haven't really seen anyone selling their Deathras other than a couple GID ones on eBay.

The same thing happened last year though, and after a few months there were plenty enough.

I agree with the variety issue on the bags. What I like about S7's is that every one is unique - even if it usually means an unpainted Milton or something, it still makes things interesting.

In addition to the lack of variety, the lack of paint is also a bummer.
And there's always too many minis. If they had a standard-size only bag I might be interested in testing my luck.

True, I just think about those early ones were there at least different size options so there were kind of different mixes of painted/unpainted even if it was the same sculpt/vinyl color.

Anyway, Garg knows what theyr'e doing, they sell these bad boys every year with ease anyway ha.

BTW, sliiiightly off topic, I'm too lazy to check but what was the last regular mini Zag? Like not the croucher, the regular mini, the original mini? I feel like it's been forever. SDCC 2011 maybe? Was there one?

My issue on mini's is that they're not the Gargamel Zokki Kaiju most of the time. Maybe like 1 or 2, but usually it's a bunch of the artist characters. I know, blahblahblah, but still WHINE!!!! I guess this year it's 2 and 2. I dont' even know the names of half of those things.

Anyone want that weird Martion O. non-Ojo figure? I'll trade for like...any Gargamel kaiju mini.

I think the red one was 2010 and the clear hawaii was 2011. I'm pretty sure the clear hawaii was the last one.

Yup... Clear Hawaii was the last mini zag.

This is my exact same bag (minus the snake ) and mine has the painted pocket ojo rojo.

If anyone is interested in my micros, or pockets, I will be selling them shortly, but will look at the wanted list first.

I got my lucky bag from Rotofugi today. I am pretty happy since I got a few of the things that I wanted like the painted Deathra and the green and blue Miborah. I am disappointed however that I got a duplicate figure. I'm going to put the root beer Hedoran in the trade section and see if anyone has something different to offer me.

^ That's weird and was probably a mistake. It probably should have been the green hujili based on the other bag contents.

On a more serious note, I'm glad there was what seemed to be a sudden influx of the painted Deathras. I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to find one if it was super limited
