You're welcome . . . it's just unfortunate that you are not alone in having the right to use it!

Unfortunately as a collector this isn't really of any concern to me . . . having had little chance to buy the earlier versions and with zero emotional attachment to the toy, as cool as it might be, I've already lost interest and mentally moved on!

Why don’t you guys go to Skinner thread and tell him the same?
I don’t understand why people waste their time posting negative stuff in a thread where the topic is a toy that they don’t even like or collect. move on guys!

Given the right version (as previously stated, one with painted leaves, bandage, etc.), I'd certainly considering adding it to my collection. The Grimace version was almost there.

I also fucking love beets.

Yes, I'm not a fan...but how is this any different then say the Rose Vampire?

rose vampire has a certain charm.

Do your homework before lumping me in the "Only here to sell" category. I've posted on other threads and have shown my support elsewhere.

Dude that doesn't matter I live on this board and people still found time to comment on the Toy Skinner and I post on here ... Then again people don't really like my toy
It really doesn't matter.
In the end I made a toy I wanted to see exist and I have my friends paint it and we sell it basically to try and get me out of the debt I put myself in making it which goes the same for Scott I imagine
Scott is an awesome guy and made a fun toy out of Japanese vinyl. It is well received by many people in the community and that's all that matters.

You've done this exactly twice. These are the only two posts you've ever made to show your support.
Every other one of your posts has been made pimping in this thread.

1.this toy rocks
2.everyone is entitled to there opinion
3.if your opinion sucks I have a right to be a douche towards you and/or your opinion
4.where does this toy fit in/were would you display it? well I would say that missing space in one of my 2 detolfs dedicated to nothing but plant monsters, and given due to this fact I would have to say I examine plant monsters a bit more than most on this board and this guy is tops, he fits into a niche that most plants with a face can not, he is nasty mean looking, most plants with a face look goofy or happy, take biolante for example, during his early stages he has no face and is menacing as hell, when he recieves a defined head he automatically looks less devastating and fierce even though we know this to be false

I think that the arms have articulation/are separate and possibly the feet/legs as well? Can anyone confirm this?

Also, keep the beets coming! :D

Post Re: Deadbeet
I was wondering when my appropriate criticism would turn into personal attacks and name calling. Retard, really?!

Just proves my point as to the direction of this message board.

I can care less if this Tolleson character is a nice guy, that wasn't and isn't the point. The point is that this toy does not belong here and is simply put a lump of crap. Others have pointed out (rightfully so) that it seems queer that someone who hasn't participated on these boards all of sudden claims to have been a "lurker" for ages and only now decided to post. Coincidentally with something to sell. Stolleboy is a troller and an opportunist. He (like many others) is what is wrong with this particular hobby. You've had twenty-something posts, and only a few of them where you make a comment in another thread, ALL directly related to you and what you produce.

Lack of detail: So you create something in the form of a root vegetable and you add a puerile expression, eyes, articulated accoutrements and a band-aid. Okay, I guess I stand corrected.

Lack of back story: A press release paragraph does not make a back story. Especially if you have to ask someone else to write it.

Lack of a creative paint application: Really people?! I count a half dozen of these releases since October of last year and the only one that was painted in more than one or two colors is the version by Nebulon 5. Can anyone on here (with a straight face) seriously tell me the paint application has been creative compared to say, I don't know PK, Blobpus, Koji...

Platform toy: Yeah, you bet. At least with other platform toys, the companies producing them seem to find some talent to apply their ideas onto them.

This character has worked with established kaiju/sofubi/vinyl stores and companies... so what. Because a handful of retail stores carry your product, that redeems you or your crappy attempt at a toy?

@ Tolleboy; you "roll your eyes and laugh" because you have no come back. You have no way to defend this turd trap, your reasons for producing it, and especially trying to sling it here. Wait... that's right, lucre.

@ David; You aren't really going to compare one of Doki's designs to this, are you?!

As for Skinner, he gets crapped on here all the time and called out for being opportunistic as well. He's not immune.

Comparing Rose Vampire to this, ding-ding-ding, thanks for driving my point home. And for the record, I think I've been pretty vocal about that toy and others coming out of the S7 caves.

Lastly, regarding the complete douche (JMRampage) who called me a retard. Since when is this okay on the boards? It's not that I can't take it. Bring it on little man. But this is a pretty derogatory and inflammatory term (as people have pointed out). And I'm not even remotely PC, but I feel this has crossed a line and this dude needs to get the boot. Furthermore, some of you work with this guy and should rethink it. Is this really the type of bigoted, low life twat you want to be associated with?

I could continue, but why...

Just sayin
