My thoughts exactly. I try not to give them a reason to screw with my shipments.
Does anyone know if the post office will still be open on Saturdays for mailing out stuff? (EDIT - I looked it up and they do plan to stay open, only for a shorter time.)

Thanks for the clarification. There goes my rant about getting to the P.O. on Saturdays.

I always found USPS's tracking to be more reliable. And they don't deliver at friggin 8pm like UPS does.
And Saturday delivery isn't an extra charge.
And they don't do this:

maybe not as bad but it seems like we're screwed regardless of who we ship with. I'm still not a fan of no mail on Sat..

Re: The end of saturday mail... a good thing?
USPS now does delivery confirmation automatically on all Priority Mail boxes and sticks the label directly on the box (instead of using a separate form). Maybe this isn't news to most of you, but it happened in the last month or so.
Just thought that was a pretty smart development. Hopefully they save some money by eliminating those forms.
^ what's even better is their online label tool -- no lines, cheaper rates, and free tracking included! granted, only for priority or higher... but still.
