Expect more people to be after these figures now that there is even wider exposure on Vinylpulse.

Saw that, don't think too many people will flock towards it as you either love it or hate it. Haven't they been on vinylpulse before?

I wonder how much affect this will have. It might make it harder to get in the future or they could just start bumping up the numbers they make. We will probably see a few new names here at SB.org soon because of this.

mostly caters to the KR crowd of vinyl "art toys" stuff
every so often drops a JP vinyl on it
not really that useful for most stuff found around here
they told everyone to email gargamel to order toys
lol

Maybe they were clairvoyant though, because doesn't Gargamel take email orders from abroad now?

I think it said that Brian alerted vinylpulse about the Blobpus figs in a little marketing maneuver...

No one has said anything about the colorways. I like them both. What do you think?

I'm not as impressed with these colorways as compared with many of the other versions.

Yes, at the time they definitely did not take international orders. That's why I made a joke about them being "clairvoyant."

I'm pretty sure that they do now/and or are in the process of formalizing the procedure (Baikin can clarify for us)

I never recall vinylpulse referring people to Gargamel for S&W Gomilla figures, but Thrash Out does stock many lines (including Real X Head and S&W) and Ryu linked the store on his own website when he first released the Gomilla figure. They were probably one of the only sanctioned dealers besides buying directly from him at a show, etc.

man I am loving these colors but like hyperP said there are many Blobpus colors that are better than this one!!!!!!! I am poor now because of Blobpus but I am happy. I will definitely be picking these up as well as the Toxic colors whenever they get them in. Hey Brian didn't you say there is going to be an article in the next Super 7 about Blobpus??? I am hoping that it has a check list with all the pictures of them. I think I know about them all and then I see a new version that just blows my mind!!!!!! I would like to see a new toy sculpt from the maker of Blobpus as well!!!!! Oh also is there ever going to be an article with all the Real Head figures up to now because it just seems to me that there are alot already and it is hard to keep up!!!!!!!

Vinyl Pulse is ok to see what's coming up sometimes. I buy some gear they feature on there like Mars-1 and James Jarvis, but it's mostly a KR pitch. The toy "reviews" are amusing though.
I do remember VP suggesting kids go to Thrashout for the Sin and Wombat guy.

I like the Tokyo colourway for the featured Blobpus that we're talking about. Strange though, it looks more like what my understanding of an Hawaii colourway is meant to be. Then again, I could be totally off the ball with my "understanding"!!! lol :D

I've been wanting a new sculpt from them also. I love the blobpus but something new from them would rock. Maybe even some new arms or head or something.

Can you find the reference? I looked through the vinylpulse archives, and found one reference to Gomilla where the site simply said that it is going to be available at WCC. Unless they featured it twice, I think that they only referred people to Gargamel when they featured some other toy.

OK, I found another feature from Nov 4th where they do indeed refer people to Thrash Out, as per Ryu's instructions on the S&W website...too bad they hadn't had international ordering earlier.

I know that mine both came from Gargamel, but I had to arrange for somebody in Japan to score them from there for me.

Ultimately, Vinyl Pulse in many ways is a fan site just like this one, they happened to be stoked on the new blobpus figure and wanted to know what was new that they could write about. I think it is nice that these small companies are starting to get more play out there, it will only benefit us all if they can continue to make more toys.

I personally really like the yellow paint, and I love the insider toy geek reference on the paint jobs. This will be the third figure of theirs that has been painted in a "vintage" paint scheme. The previous two were painted to match the bullmark yellow hedorah, and the bullmark pink hedorah. Geeks!

Lastly, the blobpus checklist will be in issue 13 of super7, not this issue, but the next after that. Trust me, there are a bunch you have never seen!

hey Frank there are a couple that came in the gold lucky bags!!!!! I won one on YJA that said Clear Green and I have heard that there was also a clear red. Then also on YJA I saw a Black Toxic version in the gold bag which I think is the black version that Brian was selling at Super 7. Then finally I saw another one that said G.E.M. Trans form which is the translucent version of the older G.E.M. Blobpus. Also the first picture on databubs flicker account in the superfestival section is the G.E.M. Trans Form.

this is a picture of the Toxic Black(left) and the G.E.M. Trans form(right):

Here is a picture of the original G.E.M.:
