I think they did the same number of each, so I wouldn't think they sold back stock of the Q9 with a new Mazinger. I know with the previous Pink and Purple releases they were just opposite bodies and heads being Pink and Purple. It might be the same with this one, but only a picture of the previous one? If not, I can't see a difference.

edit: forget that, it looks like it is the same from the ones listed on yja???

edit one more time: from looking at the one on mandarake, maybe this new one is a little redder in body than the previous metallic one that looked oranger?

I didn't collect them, so I don't know, but they do look too close on this one. Not in hand anyway.

The first releases we're enough for me, just hope they decide to do a couple more of the villains.

The new r9 is indeed in identical colour scheme to the previous ver, but they are completely different in real side by side. The new one is metallic pinkish.

The fact they were in a few lucky bags at the end of that year suggests they didn't sell out. But who knows how many were made. I just think we were lucky to get them made and available.

What's the relationship between Secret Base and Cure? It seems to me like Secret Base does a bunch of Cure releases, or at least collabs, so it's always kind of seemed to me like Cure is a sub-brand of SB. But that's not the case, right?

Question for you veterans:
I paypaled SB over a week ago and havent received any shipping notification from them or paypal, is that a normal time to wait or should i contact them?

I'm not a vet, but I waited 4 days on my last order and heard nothing.
Emailed them, got a response and apology straight back (they forgot to send my email)
An hour later the Rebel arrived at work

I think Secret Base have cut their hours of business lately. I know some people are also waiting on some items ordered 2 weeks ago. They also never received their tracking info. I am sure everything will show up.

they rarely give you the tracking number but once you start to wonder what's going on, the parcel is at your door !

^^Truth! Their customer service is great. Often times I won't get a tracking number with my order (like with my salvation pirate) and just when I start to worry why it hasn't come it's at my door. surprisingly i've gotten confirmation emails more often than not.

Bought my first Rebel Ink from Secret Base about a month ago.
The email process was a bit nerve racking, especially on something so limited, but everything worked out perfectly in the end.. Just picked up another through a trade and I can say with some certainty that I am hooked.. Lol..

Does anybody by chance own one of the unpainted Karakasas and know if the bottom part is glued into the umbrella? My Ver. 2 has a slightly turned foot & the connection between the umbrella and the leg part seems rather rigid - besides, I'm afraid excessive violence or the good ol' blowdryer treatment would make the tats peel off...

We just took a heat gun to an unpainted here at the store. It didn't budge.
