 Re: Mo' Buta
Okay, I can't take the torture anymore. Did anyone here grab that Cobalt through Celga? I don't begrudge you the win, but please post some pics (to rub him in my smelly face) if you did. Been hunting one for years (him or Astro). That was a hard miss.

 Re: Mo' Buta
^^^ Sweet snap! I had applied different names for them, though: Bill and Oli did some translations for me from the character sheet - where did yours come from, Choon?

^Haha. Yup. I was trying to guess who they really are. But the second guy with glasses maybe a politician and not Mr. Buta himself.

 Re: Mo' Buta
not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but can someone get me a scan of pygmon's balloon? i'd like a 1:1 scale image so that i can produce a template for reproducing it in some fashion. perhaps a pipe dream? thanks in advance to the generous soul who can fulfill my wish late update: this board is a great. i've been provided with not only a scan, but a set of color/material reference photos and a vector trace to boot. much thanks!

 Re: Mo' Buta
Great idea Bill! I have never seen one in person, but it appears to be of 'inflatable' type material, no? If you can get a scan, that would be great, but even if it is not the same, if you have a way to make some count me in. Any balloon type accessory would be great. It would not be that bad hotpressing the vinyl sheets if could get them, but making the valve is the more difficult part. I actually would love to buy a couple in different colours, maybe add yellow and blue to the batch? I have been hunting around the few times I am in bargain stores, but have not found anything yet.

 Re: Mo' Buta
Really great small vehicles Brent, now we definitely need a vinyl city scape and some human victim to populate it with! That is some nice Taro action too. I am really glad to see so many Buta families growing continuously. Even if my own orphanarium remains sadly lacking.

 Re: Mo' Buta
Awesome! I love all of your family shots. Butas are amazing by themselves, but somehow, when you put them all together like that, they look even that much better. I don't know if it is the variety of colours and great sculpts, or just how fun all the expressions look together - and I don't care - it just makes me smile. And great work on the 'floating' Balloonga! With the Ultra mask hovering in the sky, it all looks just right.
