The mammoth didn't come in the set I have which was complete based on the plastic blister the figures came in. I'm guessing it's in another set or it was a prototype they never manufactured after taking the packaging photo. I'd love to know either way myself!

 Re: DINOS! DINOS DINOS!
...im seriously jealous of these pendants, they're incredible scott. The fact that you scored the display cards is the best part. The yellow guy looks to be a knock off of the Miura pteranodon maybe?

 Re: DINOS! DINOS DINOS!
I can definitely see the Miura connection there too, intentional or not. I have seen the brown patchi dino before (I think I even have one maybe stashed away) but not in pendant form. The whole set is entirely amazing. It is so great that some kind of circumstance led to these either being kept on or reunited with the header at some point. If only some shop owner could have seen the future history of these cheap toys when they had them stuck up in some corner and the kids were ignoring them. Just makes me think of all those tiny jam-packed shops and tourist carts in Japan, and the treasures within. Something like this in the 70s. Oh to dream.........

Second, that is not MARUSAN logo.
That logo is a logo of SHIMADA TOY. Shimada toy is a factory that made MARUSAN kaiju.
M B on the logo. I do not know what does it mean. I will inform if I know it. I think maybe this is M S on the logo (stegosaurus I just got last week). and here is the logo on the little guy

Yep, what Michael said. I tried to get a thread going for the vintage markings stuff as a database/place to post some questions here.

This website is geared toward tin toys, but there is a lot of overlap. Very good resource for logos. http://tinplatetoys.blogspot.com/p/index-of-japanese-tinplate-toy.html

Fantastic! I love Marusan's old backing cards. I'm kinda surprised more toy makers don't do stuff like that...

 Re: DINOS! DINOS DINOS!
Oh crap, I have all those, when all I really want is the Zarab guy - seriously I would do so much for him it is scary. Scary I say. What a brilliant set, congrats on a superb find. And of course, so happy to see them out enjoying themselves!

 Re: DINOS! DINOS DINOS!
Yes, you're correct on the title on the header. But as far as I know, the maker of these minis is unknown. onibaba5 wrote: Here are some pachi mini figures from the 70s I recently purchased that I'd never seen before. These were described as being made by "Kaettekita Kaiju," which from a little research seems to mean something on the lines of "Return of Kaiju?" Hopefully someone that can read the header will chime in.
Anyway, these were minty mint still in bag with a fantastic header! Other than the obvious Zarab Seijin knock-off, all seem to be generic kaiju/dinos or they're knock-offs of kaiju I don't recognize.
Some of the arm poses remind me of Butanohana figures.
The big dino is another recent purchase, unmarked. I just love the earthy colors, his face and almond eye shape!
...

I checked for marks and there were none so "Kaettekita Kaiju," must just be a name the unknown maker gave these. The name is great! It's inspiring me to draw up some monsters!
