 Re: monster drawings
I was sketching out ideas for this guy, and eventually settled on this sort of bowling pin shape. Looks like this guy is soon to become a reality thanks to Unbox Industries, including (tentatively) an anatomically dissected version. It's being digitally sculpted, which is pretty wild. I've seen the first versions and they look pretty organic. SO easy to make changes! One of the things I like about digital sculpts, you can add elements that a human sculptor would find to be a giant pain, like chain links etc.

 Re: monster drawings
^I am liking all the tubes/hoses running around that guy. I'd love to see some progress pics of the digital sculpts. Here's a little something I'm working on right now. Most of my work has become digital so I'm trying to make time to draw on paper again. It feels really good and frustrating at the same time, I love that. Megan wanted me to draw a Pollen Kaiser and this is what I came up with.

 Re: monster drawings
Thanks David, he's coming along really well. I got the first round of digital images and made some changes, it's so fun. That little sketch looks awesome. ^ Your pencil work is very nice! This morning I did some quick (sort of) adjustments for a fake newspaper front page design. Here's the artwork, now I just have to come up with a ton of text..

 Re: monster drawings
anatomy drawing, bold colors. I'm gonna make a more traditional version as soon as I get the time.

 Re: monster drawings
This is one of my favorite threads, so inspiring. Here are a few sketches I've done lately, going to try and sculpt this first one for a resin cast.
