Question about artwork on a Hujili's Ghost
I've got a full size Hujili's Ghost which I think was released at the 2010 Thrash Out show--that's what I was told when I bought it from someone on the forum, I've forgotten who. Anyway, it has some hand-painted artwork on the chest. The artwork appears to be signed on the lower right (as facing the camera) as H+S or possibly some combination of a - and + sign with H and S, though there is a + sign by itself on the opposite side. But whichever components make it up, it does appear to be a signature, and not just part of the design. Anyone know who did or signed the artwork? It looks like something Le Merde would doodle. Definitely seems like his style. I'm not sure about the "H" and "S" though.

Re: Question about artwork on a Hujili's Ghost
I was gonna recommend posting it in the le merde section of the grass hut forum but it doesn't seem that active. if it helps, on le merde's blog @ march or april 2010 he does mention the thrashout show and the remaining stock was sent to super7's FL shop. Maybe a one off from some kind of event at either location?

Re: Question about artwork on a Hujili's Ghost
I'm pretty sure the artwork was LeMerde's. I would think that no one would risk spoiling a figure like that with an attempt to imitate him. Someone suggested that perhaps the signature was just part of the doodle. Could be. I suppose I could write to him, if I'm motivated enough.
Thanks for your help.

It looks to me just to be a part of the doodle. No H or S, but stitches and some hair. I could be mistaken though

Yeah, the "H" looks like the squiggle stitches as seen on the Hujili face, and the "S" is the squiggle for hair. If not, its just Le Merde's doodling all around.

Isn't it like an L and M just superimposed one on the other? Like a terrible looking M?

Or it could be one of those cross-hatched scar things he does and he missed lining everything up. In any case I'm satisfied LM did the drawing, and his squiggles often appear like they were painted on in haste.

I have no idea, but if it is H + S it could be H for Hujili's Ghost + S for "Severed For Life" (event)?

I also think it is stitches and hair, but Mike would've put a LM somewhere... ????
