Ehhh as long as we don't give up too much. Even though he's old he still can score (14 goals 12 assists this year) and that's a major concern the Bruins need to address. Lucic is snake bitten (as many Bruins seems to be). So many open nets, near misses I often bang my head against the desk when I watch them play. I was kind of hoping for Clowe because he'd fit right into the Bruins. Guy never loses a fight and I was thinking the change might give him the scoring touch again.
Oh and then there is that whole I'll believe it when I see it thing (Iginla)...

Re: The good ol' hockey game
The worst I've had was my stick getting stuck in the snow (street hockey!) and basically stabbing myself in the sternum. I get that breathless reference... And the friends laughing at you (it was, after all, totally self-inflicted).
My dad lost all of his upper teeth to a puck just under the nose when he was 16. Ah, the good ol' days of dentistry...
It will be interesting to see how Jagr performs. Even if he doesn't bring leadership or heart or whatever people typically attribute to veteran players, he brings the scoring, which is what Boston needs. Especially in a shortened season, I can see this working out very well. Plus, they really didn't give up anything serious either. I'd put this one as a smart move (well, since the Iginla situation fell apart).
As for Montreal, we are in okay shape, but I am not sure what the plan is with holding on to all these draft picks, when we have a lot depth with young guys already, and decent prospects coming up in the system.
Years ago, a friend of mine managed to get the blade of his stick jammed (can't remember if it was jammed on the net or the board). He didn't fair as well as you, Oli. He was out for months after cracking his sternum.

Ugh. I can't believe the Flyers got two goals off of completely flukey lucky deflections on defencemen's skates. How shitty. Where was our offence this game? Man I hate the Flyers.

Thank you Sabres for ending the Pens streak. I never thought I'd thank the Rangers, but thank you for giving the Pens a new losing streak tonight. And a BIG thank you to the Flyers tonight. I tuned in with Montreal up 3-2 with less than 5 minutes to go thinking how the hell is Philly going to win this? Wow did they ever.

Can I follow Jagr to the B's. Pittsburgh has been embarrassing these last two games.

Re: The good ol' hockey game
Does that n00b Bartkowski play for Montreal? Nice push back with the skate for the goal! Lucic destroyed Emelin. That guy is like a freight train I swear...
Unfortunately only online feeds are Hockey Night in Canada. Man I hate their broadcast from top to bottom.
Haha, that goal had stinklines all over it - but I won't complain [had it been the other way around mind you...] Emelin is a good guy, but you don't run up full speed against a wall. Not sure, but I think he might have taken a knee from Lucic to the groin, in addition to the knee-in-knee, and then twisted out his left knee with a terrible landing. No fault on either really, just bad luck. Hope it is not serious.
Sorry Lixx, but compared to any of the US feeds I am made to suffer through countlessly (or TSN for that matter) HNIC is 10000x better. That doesn't mean it is great; just better.

I hope that guy is alright as well. It looked painful.
I just like the NESN feed. People make fun of it but Andy Brickley the color commentator should be a coach. He has excellent feedback on the game. Despite what people think (being a pro Bruin feed) they pay great respect to the other teams/players they play.
I think any hockey markets usually are at least tolerable, but when you have to watch the local colour guys from Carolina or Nashville for example, when it is not NBC, ESPN or someone, man, it is just atrocious.
This game is too intense. I give the Bruins a lot of credit, they can bounce back and pound us easily. Subban better keep his antics in check.
I remember someone commenting about penalties in the last minute...
Hahahahahahaha !

LMFAO! While I'm not counting the Bruins going all the way this year you guys are delusional if you think the Canadians are! Montreal Canadians since 2000: 1 Division title 0 cups. Boston Bruins since 2000: 5 Division titles 1 cup.

I'm French Canadian and i think hockey is a plague on my society and culture. Annoying French canadians are just ridiculous, annoying americans nuked Japan. I'll keep on enjoying Nefasth's annoying company, at least he's not an acid-belching frustrate-O.
P.S. I love you fulminating board persona but when you start stepping on our little ethnic toes this french kid who grew up alone in an anglo neighbourhood instinctively starts cracking his keyboard knuckles.
You can all carry on discussing your relationship with this opiate for the bone headed northern masses....

If you must know I'm an equal opportunity hater- I find Americans just as annoying. In fact 90% of the planet annoys me. I'm often annoyed by myself even. So don't feel bad.
Yes i know, and as i've stated , i appreciate your harsh outlook on life and value your opinion. We're just so ultra-sensitive about people tugging at our psycho-emotional trauma as a colonized people.

Got it. No hard feelings. Btw being bitched at by everyone around me (in real life not the internet), being dropped and lied to by my bidding service, and just trying to get through physics, chemistry, and biology this semester, oh and living in shitty Buffalo- I think my brain is fried. Well more so than normal. Hence my excessive bitchiness lately...I'm becoming like that Snickers commercial.
