Hello, im Edgar, new to kaiju and to the forums, is there another place other than lulubell where i can get some Siccaluna Shikaruna Kuobo figures? If so pls lmk, im amazed by those figures due to their creepy awesomeness, any help or hint will be greatly appreciated.

You can start by spelling the name right. Siccaluna is the same thing as Shikaruna (and it's not Shikaruba). So it's either Siccaluna Koubou or Shikaruna Koubou, depending on how you want to write it. And it's Koubou, not Kuobo.

I don't expect everyone to learn Japanese to collect this stuff, but geez, take a minute.

Damn bro, i fucked up typing the name, that's all, i clearly stated that im new to "KAIJU" and japanese toys, been collecting KR and other kinds of shit for almost 2 years now, so, sorry if im not very familiarized with all the names of every single kaiju toy and company and the "N" is next to the "B" in the keyboard that's why accidently i typed "SHIKARUBA", i know Shikaruna is Siccaluna i just posted it like that for reference that's it, thanks anyways.

Think of it as a gauntlet. It may not be necessary, but for good or ill, that's Skullbrain culture for you. If you can sift through the "tone," there's some good advice in there. E.G. the search function is your friend more often than not, spelling brand names correctly is a good idea (although admittedly sometimes confusing given JP>ENG transliteration) etc. Also, while your sale thread may make some things available to people who couldn't attend Wondercon, a n00b selling just-released stuff (including at least one item still for sale via Super7store.com) is likely to raise eyebrows. I understand that you're not really flipping per se, but for what it's worth, building trust and getting to know folks here before selling is also a good idea.

Coming to SB is a lot like going to a foreign country where you don't know the customs nor speak the language. It can be a barrier at first, and one of the prime languages here is sarcasm. You have to be thick skinned. Live an learn.

As far as Shikaruna goes. Just google it. You'll get the actual website of the company which can easily be sent through a google translator. You'll also get the flickr group I started, as well as other places selling the toys. Kaiju is NOT like KR. You really have to do some hunting to find it. Want lists help as long as you don't keep bumping them. People will rage here if you do.

KR is like McDs and SK like some bistro on the chic district. For one you stand in line and shout a random spur-of-the-moment order and not care, for the other you research a little and try to educate yourself so as to not make a faux pas by ordering white wine with the quail. That is unless you want to order some paul kaiju, that goes well with everything. Its up to you to differentiate.

The searching and researching and getting lost in a vortex of sites and japanese domains where you understand nothing, IS part of the hobby and to some extent the most gratifying one. Just because KR and kozik stuff is readily available don't assume the higher, kobe beef cuts and sushi pieces will be too. That attitude is even a bit offensive to the members that have put in the time and effort and from whom you ask without giving or showing any class.

If you just take baby steps, it all comes along nicely.
