 Re: Vintage Mail Day
Almost I have about 80-85 vintage toys now, so maybe . I've always loved the varied look of different sizes displayed together. From every pic I've seen of japanese toy/sofubi shops, its how the cases look, well at least the photos I've saved on my computer. Not going to Japan any time soon so this will have to do. I really need to break for a bit though. If left to my own devices as long as there is money I will keep finding toys to spend it on. It's a problem most of us have. Living in this tiny apartment though space is really limited and I've already filled the new detolf and the tops of them all over again. I think I've found most of my most wanted and have a really good mix of new/old, with just about all characters I like (be it hero, kaiju etc) represented.

 Re: Vintage Mail Day
Came in original packaging. More paint rubs than I'd like and loose shoulder joints, but overall good condition. 009's head is very squishy!

 Re: Vintage Mail Day
These are really hard to track down. Probably my favourite vinyl toys that Takatoku have produced. Jealous as fuck!

 Re: Vintage Mail Day
Some better individual shots: Best combo: clear, glitter, mechanical guts, great expressions, use of cloth - even the legs on all these are articulated. The only way these could be any better is if the guns were removable from the holsters to put them in their hands. I also kind of wish my 009 had the red glitter like I've seen on someone else's to make them all different. And the cool logo stickers on the front of the packaging

Those are awesome, really nice and restrained use of clear glitter.

 Re: Vintage Mail Day
@Russblue11 - Fantastic pick up! It's interesting to see your clear chests aren't yellowed either. I have the same set and always marveled at how clear they stayed. I wasn't sure if it was a matter of circumstances like type of storage, environment etc...but it seems that Takatoku must have had the right clear vinyl mixture to hold up so well! When I purchased my set it didn't come with any packaging so I'd really enjoy seeing it! Congrats again!

 Re: Vintage Mail Day
Wow, fantastic scores, that is some impressive haul. I recognise the Barom-1 mug! Tons of stuff there I want, but what is that giant Red King, a bootleg? He is really calling out to me. I also love the little dino next to the the patchi saurus, what is the story on that guy? The way the colours match each other is just fantastic.

 Re: Vintage Mail Day
Nevermind, should have made the connection myself, but thankfully Yuck set me straight. Parts of the unceasingly amazing Biomelon set. I also need to point out how awesome the black/brown patchi guy is. You can clearly see he wads the inspiration for the Amapro Onigon, which though I knew was a pachimon creation, I didn't know had a vintage source. Seeing the original is both fantastic and a bit heartbreaking (but in a good jealousy way). I am so thankful there are still areas of SB not filled with banality.

The little purple eleking? I got him in a lot, realized the the colors matched after I took the photo.

 Re: Vintage Mail Day
Crap I think I had a bid with that larger bagged Lion Maru toy. Sorry if that cost you anything large. My bid was really small on that though. I really need a list of YJA id's so I never bid on anything someone else is bidding on. But with services I guess it's hard. I'm happy bidding away with my new service, that lets me do my own bidding I really can't wait till you open up that barom one, ninja arashi mini, etc bootleg set. I really want to check out those toys! Really impressive haul.

Oh boy! Love those two Lion Marus (though that set Chris mentioned is fantastic in every way). Congrats on your scores.

 Re: Vintage Mail Day
Aldo/O_A/Scott- Thanks! Chris- no that was a different auction. I won this one really cheap in maybe january. Steve- yup from the biomelon set. I didnt realize thats what it was from the bad auction photo until I got him and found the micro rattling around inside. What sucks is I passed on the outer/large guy in the set a while back thinking id never find the smaller ones that go inside .
